We sincerely appreciate your comment.
However, we would like to refer to your generalization about the "crime rate" in the city of San José.
Unfortunately San Jose as capital and the largest urban city of CR, does not escape the many challenges facing these metropolises around the world, one of them, undoubtedly, there criminality.
However, it is also safe to emphasize that the city of SanJose has one of the lowest in Latin America along with Panama, Ecuador and Paraguay.
Even so, it is necessary to mention that most of the crimes committed are associated with organized crime (a scourge that is increasing worldwide due to the illicit association, drug trafficking and corruption of some people linked to the government).
In addition, this criminality we talking about - for better or for worse - is very focused in low income and marginal neighborhoods far from the international tourist scope.
Although the above is worrisome, it is also true that at the federal, citizen and community level, with great effort, the impact on our tourism industry has been almost imperceptible. What has resulted in a considerable, constant and prolonged increase of international tourism to our country.
Having said that, I just want to conclude by saying that our accommodation is not located in San José, but in Heredia, which is one of the safest and most peaceful cities in the country.
Best regards and thanks for your preference.
