Our comfortable Barn is furnished to a high standard and is situated close to the main house in nine acres of grounds and within walking distance to two idyllic villages which have excellent dog friendly pubs. The Barn is ideally situated if you are seeking a relaxing break or wish to work away from your office. (We have an ideal detached office available at an additional charge) The barn is in an AONB and is a perfect location to enjoy many stunning walks and bike rides.

The space
The ground floor of the Barn has a large open plan living area which includes a very well equipped kitchen, a comfortable sitting area with Sky TV, DVD player, great all round sound system and a separate eight seater dining table. Upstairs there is a spacious double bedroom with a King sized bed and an adjoining twin bedded room and shower room and WC. The large bedroom also has a comfortable seating area with a lovely view of fields through the French windows as well as a good working desk.
Access to the shower room and WC is via the twin bedded room. Both bedrooms have chests of drawers and hanging space. Additionally there is an outside loo attached to the barn. We have provided a large dog cage and dog bed. Please ensure dogs do not go upstairs by using the gate at the bottom of the stairs. There is an outside tap for washing them down if needed. The porch has a useful area for hanging wet weather clothes and boots.
The Barn is an excellent base for exploring the area and a comfortable location for business visitors to the Marlborough, Hungerford, Newbury, Andover and Swindon area.

I am a retired stock broker and my wife and I redeveloped our 300 year old farmhouse in 2005 having moved from a larger holding nearby. We built the barn then so we could be close to the renovation work. Later at different times our two children lived in the barn before they moved on. This gave my wife the opportunity to indulge her hobby of interior decoration which provided her with a grown up dolls house!
My daughter and I persuaded her to make it an Airbnb and somewhat reluctantly she agreed but now is more than happy to see others enjoying her creation.
