This is an ideal place to base yourself for a visit to the north of Scotland. As a party of four, we found the property has everything you could want for a short stay and everyone we met was very friendly and helpful. The grounds of the house provided a number of walks ideal for exercising both our dog and us. Although we didn't manage to sample the food, the local pub has a great atmosphere, good beer and very welcoming and friendly host and customers (if you are going in the autum to spring months take a torch as the path to the pub is dark/ unlit). We would all thoroughly recomend staying at the Lodge.

This cottage was exactly as described. It's a great location for exploring the top of scotland. The cottage itself has everything you need for a stay of any length. Catherine is on hand if you need anything and was excellent with communication both before and during our stay. The area itself is very quiet and there is a local pub within walking distance. We had two dogs so unfortunately the pub does not allow dogs inside, but they will do you takeaway food which was lovely. We would definitely stay here again if we were heading up that way.

Exactly what Airbnb is all about, as far as we're concerned. Lovely lodge house, well equipped, cosy and dog friendly. Great value!

Loved my stay, loved the seclusion but only short journey to shops, used it as a base to explore the highlands and the Orkney isles. I would recommend this lovely cottage to anyone.
