A fantastic experience staying at this house in a lovely hilltop village by the sea. The house itself was great for our group of six adults. Very well set up, especially the kitchen, and plenty of space for us all. Mia was very helpful and responded quickly to any of our messages. The old village is gorgeous and we happily spent many hours wandering around. Lots of places to eat and buy whatever you need. Make sure you take note of the instructions from Mia about car access. You really can't take a big car right to the house but can park safely not far away.

One word says it all for our first AirBNBexpercience: perfect. Mia was the perfect host, she was very easy to contact and gave us all kinds of useful information. If we had a question or a problem she was always easy to contact. The house was perfect for our stay, everything was clean and ready upon our arrival. Kitchen very well equipped. Roof terras super for quiet evenings (with bbq). Plenty of room for our company (2 to 4 adults and 2 children). We already felt at home. Bakery is very close, other shops easy to reach on foot. Beach is a 15 minutes walk down and 20-25 minutes walk back (very steep, good for our general condition :)). There is also a bus going to the old town but we never used it. Very cosy old town. La botica at the square is very good for dinner and drinks. Thank you Mia for everything!

What a beautiful place in the city centre of Salobreña! This clean and fully equipped house with a perfect view roof terrace is a convenient place to stay to explore the city. The drive up is as mentioned rather difficult. Next time we would leave our car downtown and walk up. (It is only a 10 minutes walk uphill). When we arrived there was someone waiting with the key. The house itself is beautiful and comfortable. We were with 3 adult couples and 3 kids. For two couples there was a comfortable bedroom. However for the third couple is was al little cramped and without daylight. The kids slept in bunk beds and another smaller room. This is the perfect place to stay with 2 couples (not 3) with up to 5-6 kids.

We have had a great time in Mia's house. It is spacious and fully equipped which makes everything very easy. And even though we started out with some force majeure problems due to an electric storm just days before we arrived, everything has been taken care of smoothly in a kind and easy manner. We strongly recommend this house for people with need for space and an authentic andalucian experience.

This is a lovely home in the old section of Salobrena. We were seven travelers weary from our week long cycling trip climbing all the hills in Andalucia. The home was perfect with a fully stocked kitchen and a great table to gather around for meals and conversation. The bedrooms were well appointed with crisp linens and comfortable beds. The view from the roof top terrace though made the home perfect, even in the rain. We experienced the first rain the area had received in 4 months! Our host Mia was gracious and informative, I felt well cared for and knew she would be available for any of our needs. The home had lots of information about the town and surrounds, close restaurants, grocery, ect. The walk to the beach is about 15-20 minutes depending on which beach you choose. If you bring a car be sure it is small! The streets are steep and narrow. Great for walking. I recommend this home to anyone who wants a quiet retreat with all the amenities. A lovely home.

Mia's house in Salobreña was lovely. I stayed with my parents and my Spanish host parents with whom I'd remained in contact with since a high school trip! We had a really nice time - the house was beautiful, clean and spacious. We could have easily fit 4-5 more people in the house comfortably. The kitchen was particularly lovely, as was the terrace with views of the mountains and the ocean. The town of Salobreña was just what I was hoping it would be - walkable, friendly, and full of white-washed Andalucian charm. We had a particularly lovely meal at Restaurante Pesetas, which has beautiful ocean views. The only thing to be aware of is that the streets of old town Salobreña are TINY. We tried to drive straight to the house using GPS, which was a mistake. Jeanette, the housekeeper, told us that normally people just meet up with her in the part of town down by the beach and she drives them up, which would have been way easier on our collective anxiety level. Also, walking to the house from the beach is very uphill, and takes about 20-25 minutes. I'd recommend taking the public bus that goes up to the old town. Overall a great time, and I hope to return soon!
