Welcome to Dera Aravali, a 2 - bedroom country cottage built in Rajasthani "haveli" style on a 4-acre estate surrounded by forests atop the Aravali hills. It is just 45 km from Delhi airport, or 25 km from the IT city of Gurgaon. The entire estate is available for exclusive short-stays, for a maximum of 4 adults (+ 4 children ages 2-12 can be accommodated free). There will be no other guests during your stay. Home-style Indian meals will be provided by our in-house cook against preset menus.

The space
Just a 1.5 hr drive from Delhi airport, there lies a pure wilderness of
ancient mountains and poetic valleys. Where the air is pure and the only
sounds are the whistling of the wind, the tinkle of cowbells or the trill of
a mountain eagle. Above a spectacular canyon, the hill rises in a series of wild and rocky swells. The hilltop is crowned by a small but picturesque "haveli":

I love the outdoors. I have trekked extensively in most regions of the Himalayas, and I am a regular at wildlife reserves. I have been a musician, a stage actor, I write, and I run an adventure travel outfit as well as an IT software company. Twenty- two years ago, I created Dera Aravali as an easily accessible nature retreat for weekends with my family and friends.
