Renovated 1960s bach with many original features, all set for a great relaxing stay on Waiheke. Central to a selection of Waiheke's best beaches. Very close to bus routes, shops and cafes and walking distance to vineyards like Stonyridge and Te Motu.
This is a free standing house with all necessary facilities - handy in a post-Covid19 environment.

The space
This cute bach has recently been renovated for comfort with an authentic twist. The house is ready for a wonderful holiday on stunning Waiheke Island. It has wrap around decks, with large, covered areas, so you can use the bbq anytime. Relax in mid-century style, mixed with contemporary highlights. Curl up on the couch and enjoy the eclectic book collection. Wander down the road to the famous Ostend market on Saturday mornings, walk the new Te Ara Hura walkway which goes straight past the bach, or enjoy some of the neighbourhood cafes. Bring or rent a car or bike for the short trip to any of the beautiful beaches - Palm Beach is only 5 minutes away by car.
This is a simple house with a semi-rural outlook. It does not have a sea view, but the closest beach is a 5 minute stroll away. The cottage has its own off-road parking and sits on over half an acre of landscaped grounds, approx 30m from the main residence. A great base for a short stay or extended holiday on the island.

Doing some work on the island? The bach has unlimited free UFB WIFI and we can offer black and white and A3 colour printing if you need it. Reasonable printing charges apply.

We have TV on a cool mobile screen trolley with DVD and Chromecast, stream video from your mobile device or laptop, great for personal use, won't overwhelm the lounge.

Available all year round, for short stays and longer holidays. It has been insulated, and we have good heating, extra blankets for cold nights and plenty of hot water bottles to keep your feet warm, but hey we hardly ever get frosty nights on the island.

Here's a tip: download Go! Waiheke for up to date travel info, facilities, weather, vineyards, restaurants and cafes nearby etc. Available for IOS, Android and Windows 8 devices. Its definitely the most useful guide to Waiheke you will find.

Anzac Bay is a quiet part of Ostend, central located on Waiheke. We are very close to all amenities, but just far enough away from the busier parts of the island. The house is on a hill, with nice views from the terrace.
