Peter is a very friendly host, that promptly responds and welcomes you into his home. He has a nice quiet place that is located near SDSU which was perfect for our stay. He met us and saw us off without rushing us at all. The place is very cute and clean and is perfect for a c…

My wife and I visited San Diego. We arrived after midnight and Peter and Felix were still there to greet us and show us around and recommend a few local places to check out. The place was a perfect location just outside the city, was very clean and had everything we needed. The b…

Peter's home was very cozy and comfortable. We were so grateful for the extra accommodation, originally not listed or included, to let us use a wall AC unit, during the crazy heatwave San Diego recently had. Felix gave us an informative tour of the place. He greeted us upon a…

Thanks for the kind words, Mike. I'm really glad you enjoyed the apartment, its amenities, and its great location.I'm also glad to hear - as if I didn't know it already - what a tremendous help Felix was during my absence. Sometimes it takes an absence to be reminded how fortunate we are to have great people in our lives. Do come again...! Peter

Peter's place is very reasonable for the San Diego area. It is in a good location time wise to major SD attractions. However, you need to know your way around to navigate to the major sights and access to freeways. Stay off and away from the El Cajon Blvd area especially at night…

Response from Peter:
Hello Errol, Thanks for your feedback - both public and private. We've already installed the window AC that was sitting in the basement and ready to go for the inevitable global warming hotter and more humid weather we are experiencing more frequently in SD. Perhaps I should have been more explicit with you to ask Felix to install it if the weather got a bit too much and the fan was not sufficient to the task.My apologies for that. I do have a coffee making machine alternative to the french press that's there for coffee, so I'll be glad to make it available for future guests. Regarding the disposal of the coffee grounds, I should have told to use the toilet for organic waste disposal of this kind would have worked just fine. This avoids the possibility of clogging the sink and the possibility of stoppages. I'm installing a garbage can with bio-degradable bags for waste such as the coffee grounds so that we can put them in the composter. Thanks again for the positive comments to help us to improve stays for our guests.

Thank you for your kind words of acknowledgment, Mariela - I'll pass them on to Felix. . Travelling can be stressful enough, let alone with a small child. Because you were so loving and attentive to Adriana's needs, it was our pleasure to help you maximize your enjoyment at 5456 Gilbert Drive.
