Interaction with guests
Interaction would include a short tour: trails, beach, and other recreation options.
My house is across the wide driveway from the guest house. Your cell phones won't work up here, so you are welcome to use the house phone as needed. We place a handset on the deck table for you to use. I work out of my basement and will, most likely, be here. I won't bother you, but will be available for questions and a quick property tour. Want to learn some table top games? I can get you started!
Other things to note
This is a gorgeous setting and a dramatic river frontage/beach. You will find it relaxing and refreshing to be here. There is no cell phone coverage or tv channels. Wi Fi is not accessible in the guest house, but it is across the driveway on the deck. Relax and just check in occasionally. Wifi is satellite and on broadband, so it limited to the adults, not kids or teens. Since I work out of my home, I need to be able to access the internet and not have it drained down with video. Our friends who visit with kids/teens appreciate this to get some uninterrupted time with them. There is a dvd player and tv. We have stocked a variety of movies, games and books. At times, summer camp fires are prohibited. We can check with the nearby campground for burn bans.
Of course, little kids will need supervision for safety and must be 8 years old to access the lofts in the cabins and the upper bunks in the guest house. No smoking or vaping indoors. Smoking is allowed on porches, butts disposed of properly.
Please, no trespassing (driving or walking) on neighbor's properties or their river frontage. No turning around vehicles in neighbor driveways please. No need to bring bottled water....excellent well water here and limited recycling options for a bunch of unnecessary water bottles. Thank you!
