This three bedroom house has a spectacular view of the sea, the sunset and the sunrise. It's a perfect place to stay fit because approx.100 stairs leads to the house. It's 70 m from the cristally clear sea. The house is 100 sq m (including the loggia of 30 sq m). The west side of the house has an additional relaxing area of 25 sq m with an outside shower where you can sunbathe and barbecue. It is 35 km from Korcula and the nearest shop is 10 minutes walk from the house.

The space

This three bedroom house, thanks to its isolated position, has a spectacular view of sunrise and sunset. Approximately 100 stairs lead to the house, which covers 100 sq m (including the loggia of 30 sq m). It's 70m from the sea, where there is a small beach where you can relax and enjoy the crystally clear sea. From the balcony, you can see the sea, and nearby islands of Hvar, Šćedro and Pločica. The open terrace (30 sq m) is perfect for sunbathing and barbecuing, with a fireplace. It also has an outdoor shower, a swing and a table and chairs so you can enjoy your meals feeling like you're alone with the nature. The house itself is very well lit and airy. Olive and fig trees and dry stone walls surround the house, giving it a true mediterranean feel. Perfect for anyone who wants to enjoy the beautiful nature of the island and forget about the fast city life. It is only ten minutes on foot away from the nearest shop, two restaurants and a public beach in the centre of Prigradica. It is only a 35 minute drive away from Korčula, a beautiful historical city which is also the biggest on the island, and a 7 minute drive from Vela Luka. From Prigradica, you can easily get to Hvar or Split with a catamaran which leaves every day at 6.30am and comes back every evening at 7pm. The island of Korcula has four ferry ports - Korcula Town, Domince, Prigradica and Vela Luka . There is also a superfast seaplane connection from Vela Luka to Split (16min). I hope I have been able to give you an image of this place and I look forward to welcoming you as my guests.

I have no hesitation recommending Ivo's house for your holiday. The house is well equipped with super sharp knives in the kitchen which is always such a bonus in holiday houses! The air conditioning was a very welcome luxury. The veranda stretches round two sides of the house so you have full sun and shade with spectacular views. The outdoor shower is great when you need to cool off. The little village/town of Prigradica is very convenient with a small local shop with all the essentials, two great restaurants and a bar. It is an easy 15 minute walk from the house. There are 100+ steps from the house to the beach so something to be aware of if you or someone in your party are slightly less mobile, but by the end of the week you hardly notice them!!

This is perfect for those who want a relatively quiet get-away-from-it-all type of holiday. The house, which is very comfortable, has stunning views of the sea and the sunsets. It has two balconies, one in shade and one directly in the sun, so you can take your pick! There is a small semi-private beach at the bottom of steps by the road outside the house. Be aware there are a lot (100+) of steps up to the house from the road, so it is not suitable for those with mobility issues The village of Prigradica is pretty and quiet. It has a harbour, small beach, two restaurants, a cafe and a small shop. Do not come here expecting clubs parties exotic night life etc. There is no bus service in the village, the nearest one being in the town of Blato a few km away.. Having said that, our host Ivo could not have been kinder - he picked us up from Korcula town when the ferry was three hours late arriving (broken engine) and also took us in his car to the bus station in Blato. If you want to explore the island more than we did you're best advised to hire a car or bike. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would have no hesitation in recommending it.

The house is just amazing, actually it is even better than you can guess from the pictures. Especially the sun terrace is isolated from any neighbors, you can enjoy sunbathing and taking an outside shower while being surrounded by olive trees and a beautiful view at the sea. The house is very well equipped, there is everything you need to cook or bake and relax of course. Ivo was a great host. Communication was super easy and he picked us up from the bus station and even drove us back to the bus station 6am in the morning when we had to leave. He prepared two bikes for us for free, nice to use them for getting into the tiny town center. If you want to explore the island you definitely need to rent a car or scooter, but you can also stay only around the house to enjoy life. That's a perfect place for this..

We stayed at Ivo´s place for a week in July with two teenagers. We came from Dubrovnik and the peace and quiet in Prigradica was a nice change from all the tourists. The house has lovely outdoor spaces. There is a great sundeck with sunbeds and outdoor shower that is nice in the heat. The sunset is amazing with a nice view from the veranda. In the evening, we used the barbecue and Ivo´s neighbour gave us fresh fish to grill. The house was very clean and well equipped. The Wifi was fast and appreciated by our kids. Air-condition worked well and keep the house cool even on the hottest days. There is a nice shaded area for swimming which is shared with just a few of the neighbour houses. The water nice and clear, and easy to access. Ivo and his family are great hosts. They met us in Blato and guided us to the house. His mother had baked a nice cake. Since Prigradica is a small remote village a rental car is nice if you want to see the rest of Korcula. However, there are a small shop and restaurants in the village so staying in Prigradica is no problem. We took the catamaran to Split who leaves in the morning from Prigradica (and returns in the evening). We highly recommend Ivo´s place.
