We had a fantastic time in this region made perfect by Noel and Naomi's apartment. It is a really beautiful and comfortable place. Noel and Naomi did all that they could to make us welcome and for us to have an enjoyable stay. Thank you Noel and Naomi.

If you're lucky enough to have come across this property and you love this part of France, then don't hesitate. This is one of the best places we've ever stayed. Noel and Naomi are great hosts and are very knowledgable about this area so can recommend all from wine to lakes to swim in. The apartment is perfect and has everything you'll ever need while on holiday and the wonderful pool is the cherry on the cake. It's amazing! This was our first experience with Abnb and we can't wait to go back.

We had a fantastic five days at Noel and Naomi's gîte. It was clean, quiet and comfortable with great outdoor space. Noel and Naomi were very friendly and accommodating, even giving us toys for our toddler. The house was a perfect base for a wedding we were attending in Agel, and we had a great time exploring the area, especially Minerve and Narbonne. Thanks so much for a brilliant holiday!

Having read some extremely positive comments on Airbnb we were fairly sure of what we were going to get. And we were not disappointed! Thank you Noel and Naomi for your welcome in a lovely area. We were very comfortable in a lovely spacious apartment equipped with everything 4 adults could need. Noel waited up into the early hours to welcome us, far beyond the line of duty, and we thank you.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Noel and Naomi were so welcoming and provided us with lots of helpful information about the local area, such as the great cafe in the local village and a lovely easy walk amongst the vines. The apartment itself is great and remained lovely and warm despite the temperature dropping outside in the evenings.

Noel & Naomi User ProfileNoel & Naomi is a superhost.

We discovered this part of France in 2002 when looking for a holiday home. We bought an apartment on the Canal du Midi in nearby Homps and, for the next few years, spent all our holidays there getting to know the area and all that it has to offer. It did not take us long to decide that we would like to spend a lot more time here and, in 2008, we took the chance to change our lifestyles and move permanently to the Languedoc.

When we bought Les Julianes, it was a long-disused barn in need of complete renovation. However, it offered the promise of a fabulous place to live with wide-open views of the local landscape and the possibility of offering guest accommodation too. We moved in at the end of 2010 and, since then, have been working to finish our outside areas and our guest rooms.

It’s fair to say that life in France offers many challenges, but we are happy that we made the right decision and our lifestyle has changed completely. Apart from the obvious benefits of sunshine and great food and wine, we now enjoy a varied social life with a wide circle of friends from many nationalities. Our daughter Susie is prospering in the French education system and Naomi is putting her teaching experience to good use offering language courses in French and English.

We love this area and are keen to share our passion and knowledge with our guests.
