Westport Manor was built in 1949 as what was then known as the "War Bride Apartments". When Rosie the riveter went off to work, and her husband went to fight in WW II, this is where many chose to live. It continued to be the home for singles and couples throughout the years and underwent many updates and upgrades. In the early 2000s, Westport Manor was purchased by the current owner who wanted to continue updates, and retain the building's previous charm and Westport feel. The entire complex was rehabilitated with thermal windows, granite countertops, travertine tile floors and backsplashes, and beautiful black and stainless steel GE Energy Star Appliances. As a stroke of good luck, we were able to rehabilitate the wonderful antique red oak floors. We are continuing to make upgrades to the property, units, and short term rentals. We love to host and help out our tiny community here in Wesport, and we remain a dog & pet friendly property! We want you, and your pets, to enjoy your stay with us!
