Sally was a great host. She provided us with all important information on how to find the lodge and some suggestions on the local area. The cottage was just as the pictures and had space and facilities to enjoy. The cottage is close to Oakridge which has great character and peopl…

The Tired Dog Ranch was a wonderful quaint home away from home and Sally was the perfect host. We arrived late at night after unexpected delays and Sally was very understanding and had even lit a fire so the barn was snug on arrival. The barn's kitchen is well equipped, the livin…

I wish you guys would have been able to stay longer too! I've not had the cottage referred to as a barn, but that is an adorable. The slab floor could have it turn into a barn I suppose, but the old horses would have a heyday with the posts in the middle. I think it was the original owner's man cave and mama's utility room at the end of a row of bedrooms that is now the back deck area leading to my kitchen. Ah, if the walls could talk! Safe travel and thank you for the kind words about the ranch and Cottage. Be well! Sally

Fun spot in a beautiful area! Sally was a great host and the cottage was comfortable, quirky and clean. The farm animals were friendly and the fresh eggs were much appreciated, as was the fully equipped kitchen and the selection of books! Definitely a place to visit again!

Response from Sally:
Jenae, so glad you enjoyed the Cottage. It wasn't dressed out completely, but glad you found charm in bare walls with no fun paintings (who sat upstairs with pouty faces waiting for me to get them up for their adoring audience :) Will look forward to your return! Sally

Martha, Thank you again for your loyalty to TDR and I can't wait to have you stay again. Pray for snow and bring the shoes, skis, inner tubes and warm gloves. I'll have your fire lit, your lights on and your water dish filled for a good time at Tired Dog Ranch :). thank you again for being such cool guests.

We had a large group of family that required two of Sally's cabins. We enjoyed the coziness of the Cowboy Cabin and Cascadia Cabin. Sally made it so easy to enjoy our time at the Tired Dog Ranch. We especially enjoyed the cozy wood fires and farm fresh eggs she left for us in the…
