Location is ideal for students and young professionals alike - easy and fast access to bus (around the corner) and Harvard Square station (less than 10-min by bus). Grocery store, CVS, and a good bakery/café called Sofra are a short distance by foot. I felt safe walking in the neighborhood on my late night returns. The street on which the house is situated is in a state of disrepair and is very tight with views consisting of a parking lot, but this didn't bother me. The house itself is spacious and cozy with a well-equipped kitchen. The bedroom is very small with not much walking space, especially when you add a big luggage in there as I had, but it's an easy and nice accommodation for a short-term stay (I was there for 1 month). Bed is single but comfortable - just ask host for extra pillows/covers if need be. Michelle is a cordial, calm, and polite host.

Michelle is very kind and her place is clean, safe and conveniently located. In my experience she treats you more like a roommate than a guest, which is fine if you know what you're getting yourself into. Some basics were missing (tea kettle, air conditioning- I was asked to pay extra for this). Otherwise, a very affordable and convenient stay.
