The space

The airport transportation can be arranged by us. Please write us in this regard before your arrival, we pick you up at the airport with name tag. It's a 3-hour drive that passes through some of Bali's most beautiful spots. You could ask the driver to make a short stop in Ubud, Bali's cultural capital, to visit Monkey Forrest or a Balinese market. You drive over the Kintamani mountain and from there you can take pictures of the Batur Lake. The drive passes the most beautiful rice fields and flowers or fruit growing areas and traditional Balinese villages. You will also enjoy a breathtaking view over the pristine north of Bali towards the sea. So you can combine the arrival with a wonderful tour for the same price.

Right next to our garden is a paved footpath, where you can walk east along the sea, past the traditional salt production under coconut palms and picturesque fishing villages with colorful boats. In the village "Les" you can reach everything on foot. The winding village streets are paved and shaded by fruit trees and ornamental plants. To experience the beautiful waterfall and to bathe there, we can rent bicycles for 25,000 IDR / day, for 50,000 IDR / day a moped, a Yamaha NMAC for 100,000 IDR / day (gas: 8,000 IDR p / L). Distance to the waterfall on foot about 1.5 hours. Or you could rent an ojek (motorbike with driver) that can drive you around Les in the neighboring villages for a negotiable, competitive price.
There is free drinking water and a simple Balinese breakfast with fresh fruits, coffee or tea. For example: sticky rice with coconut flakes and palm sugar in the banana leaf, rice porridge, roasted bananas, black sticky rice with coconut flakes or alternatively toast bread with jam with fresh fruits, coffee or tea. Real Italian cappuccino or coffee latte, as well as other dishes such as omelets, eggs dishes etc. available at extra cost.
Our villas are far enough away from the main road, but within walking distance, it is quiet and untouched. When they are early birds, they can experience the sunrise and watch the fishermen go ashore. The locals are friendly and personable and open to conversation. The community area often hosts social projects where children from the village can learn and experience English. It is a place where people can meet and get to know each other.
We offer you a free secure parking space for your car if you wish to arrive by yourself. Also, we can organize tours for you from here to the next places or drive out directly from us for fishing, snorkeling, watching dolphins or experiencing a romantic sunrise in a traditional fishing boat.

To relax and unwind simply fantastic, for photo enthusiasts here is every moment to experience such original life, a sensation. Les has a forest sanctuary that leads up the mountain and you can hike to see caves, waterfalls, Hindu temples or birds. Or experience the incredibly beautiful sunrise by the sea, which is as calm as a lake. Go fishing for deep-sea fishing or fishing on the shore. See how salt is traditionally made or how coconuts, mangoes and rambutans are grown. Explore the morning village market. Learn about the medicinal plants that grow here and visit the many beautiful temples. A few miles away is the sunken USS Liberty - a beautiful artificial reef that invites you to dive.
Our village "Les" is located in the middle of the north coast of Bali and it is a good base from which to explore many of Bali's most famous dive sites. There is the wreckage of Tulamben 45 minutes east. The coral reefs of Amed are an hour away. Candidasa is an hour and a half drive. Padang Bai is 2 hours drive away. Driving west from Les brings you within an hour to Lovina, within 2 hours to Pemuteran with the Biorock Coral Project and within 3 hours to West Bali National Park and its famous Menjangan Island diving and snorkeling sites. There are mini markets nearby - 7-11 as well as small shops - which are open all day. Shopping centers are located in Singaraja City, 45 minutes by car or motorcycle.

I am Gede Yudarta. I am a Balinese. Born and raised in Desa Les, Tejakula, Buleleng where our villa is located. I am involved in community based eco tourism program revolving around coral reef rebuilding and sustainable ornamental fishing in our village and our villa is part of it. I like driving and hosting guests. My wife made is cooking in our small restaurant.
