The Hammock Villa is an elegant modern home set amidst huge granite boulders on a steep south-facing hill and is shaded by mature palm and mango trees. It is part of the ecologically-sensitive private estate of Santikhiri on the undeveloped south coast of Koh Samui.
The villa has spectacular views across of the Gulf of Thailand, and you may well be tempted just to spend the day in the hammock, strung between two mango trees growing through the deck, gazing out to an archipelago of beautiful islands. It is cooled by gentle sea breezes most of the year. A small pool, a few steps from the living room, allows you to cool-off at any time. A large communal swimming pool is found at the top of the hill.
Two spacious double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms have sea views framed by mango trees. The master bedroom has its own private balcony with hammock — the second bedroom has two twin beds that can be positioned together to form a double. The bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning as well as fans.
The expansive and comfortable open-plan living area (14 x 10 m) gives on to a sun deck and has a dining area and a fully-equipped kitchen.
