Come and stay in a house built on the teachings of Permaculture, rustic but cozy, and discover what we offer at the Bacupari Reserve, a place of relaxation and contemplation. Hike our trails, bathe in the Prainha on the São Bartolomeu River, observe wild animals and learn about typical plants of the region.

The Reserve is located in the buffer zone of the National Park and just 2 km from the city center.

The space
The house has a built area of 250m², well lit, large living room, three bedrooms and large outdoor kitchen.

You will have access to the entire Reserve area and can schedule a tour to learn about Bacupari's projects. Even your hosting is financially helping all the projects, which are;

- Reconstitution and Preservation of the Cerrado's Fauna and Flora
- 4 Paws Project Kennel
- Waldorf Pedagogy Social School
- Nursery of Cerrado Native seedlings
- Spice and Medicinal Herb Nursery

The Bacupari Reserve is also available to receive groups for retreats, experiences and events.

Guest access
To arrive, the guest uses the main entrance of the Environmental Reserve, which gives access to the private parking lot and the Mother House, the house where you will be staying.

Other things to note
ATTENTION: 220V voltage.

No 4x4 car is required, you can easily get there in a low car. We are 2 km from the city center.

In Cavalcante, the only mobile operator is Vivo 3G.

The internet signal is great, the city's antenna is in the reserve.

We have a bank in the city, Banco do Brasil. Many places accept PIX, but we advise you to bring some cash.

Breakfast is not included in the daily rates, but we can recommend delivery services.

Access to the lake is actually access to the São Bartolomeu River.

All beds are reversible, we can set up as Queen or Single, according to your needs.

We have an air-conditioner in the main house, which is in the living room. We remind you that the house is made of adobe, and the rooms have a pleasant temperature.

We, Gabriela and Fabio Padula, are the guardians of the Bacupari Reserve - "A new vision of exploration of the Cerrado" - which is a private initiative, which was acquired in 2000, and since then, we began the work of recomposition and restoration of the Cerrado, using various concepts and techniques such as permaculture, management, agroforestry and others; we have maintained several partnerships with the local community with the collection of fruits and seeds, extraction of oils, among others. In addition to partnerships with NGOs, Universities, ICMBIO and ZOO Brasilia. We maintain a nursery of seedlings, with the purpose of the spread of the native plants of the Cerrado, and its sustainable exploitation. We also promote events and courses.
