The Cabin is nestled away on our 110 acre property and has elevated views of the farm, with access from a private driveway, and on-site parking. The large studio offers a kitchen, bathroom, seating area, dining area and a ultra-comfortable king size bed.

The living space 42m2;
Kitchenette 10m2;
and the bathroom is over 4m2.

A breakfast hamper every morning with continental and gluten-free options. Tea, coffee and milk is provided.

A guided Farm Tour and 3 course dinner is available.

The space
We have recycled New Zealand native timber as sarking for the interior of the Cabin. The feedback from other guests has been very encouraging. The timber gives an ambiance that is hard to describe in words!

The Cabin is insulated so it remains cool in summer and warm in winter. We have a lovely wood burner that is great when the weather cools down.

There is a flat screen television with free view.

Our Farm has an organic focus and we have a natural wetland that is a 'rare gem' being over two hectares in size. That is visible from the Cabin's elevated view.

Where you’ll be

Wayby Valley, Auckland, New Zealand

Boutique Farmstay is nestled in a rural valley that is only 3kms from State Highway 1 and only 17kms North of Warkworth. We are an ideal stopping point as a gateway to Northland and the Far North.

Wayby Valley has some dairy farms as well as dry stock (beef) farms. We are also a dry stock farm.

The service town, Wellsford is only four minutes away by car and there is an excellent Albertland Museum adjacent to the modern Wellsford Library.

If you like beaches, Pakiri with its white sand is quite spectacular and is only 15 minutes away by car. Mangawhai Heads has an impressive ocean beach that is definitely worth visiting.

And for all Chocolate lovers, Bennett's Chocolate Store and Cafe at Mangawhai Village is something not to be missed.

Every Saturday, there are great markets to visit both at Matakana as well as Mangawhai.

If you like movies, the Matakana cinema with three theatres is only 25 minutes away by car. There are excellent dining out options in Matakana as well as in Warkworth.

There is a Marine Reserve at Goat Island that is close to Leigh (an old fishing village, just north of Matakana). There is snorkelling available as well other activities available. It is very popular.

White sand beaches on the East Coast are definite must see. Pakiri is only 15 minutes away by car. Unspoiled landscape.

Mangawhai Heads is also popular. It has excellent facilities as well.

And if golfing is of interest, the Wellsford Golf Course is only a few kilometres away.

Hello you will see from my profile photo that I am an Animal Lover. And here at Tracy's Boutique B&B Farmstay we have lots of animals including some super friendly pets. However, we keep the pets outside, as many people have allergies. I enjoy meeting people from all walk's of life. I regularly host wwoofers (willing workers on organic farms) and I enjoy their adventurous spirit and their courage from being so far away from home. I take Hospitality seriously and my guest's comfort and happiness is of paramount importance. If you are wanting a private space you will be coming to the right place. We have offer three types of accommodation to suit all budgets: Option 1: Self Contained in 'The Cabin' * Option 2: Self Catering* with Fully Equipped Kitchen, 2 Guest Lounges in the Sapphire and Topaz guest rooms in our Retreat Centre *Continental breakfast foods provided Option 3: Luxury in the classical Feng Shui Homestead (includes a gourmet breakfast and an optional farm tour). I have a working farm with 110 acres that is predominantly dry stock with beef (not milking) as well as a number of pasture goats (for natural weed control). I have a rare breed of cattle, which originates from Scotland; the White Galloways. If you are interested in having a farm tour please just ask. I am also a Reiki Master and Teacher (hands on healing or laying on of hands). I have a Healing Room that is in a separate Dwelling in my Retreat Centre. Guests are always welcome to experience a peaceful Reiki session. Any questions please ask or go to: golden reiki for more information.

I would be describe myself as personable and I enjoy chatting to people. I regularly host wwooofers (willing workers on organic farms) from many corners of the globe. However, if guests are feeling stressed and just want to be left alone, I will certainly respect that.
