Our bungalows are located on Praia do Moçambique, which is the largest and most preserved beach on the island, next to Rio Vermelho State Park. Trail to the beach with passage through the river that gave rise to the name of the neighborhood (10-15 minutes). Our space is cozy and a great place to relax. You'll wake up to the sound of the sea and birds. We are approximately 9 km from Barra da Lagoa beach, 12 km from Mole, Ingleses and Joaquina beaches.

Neighbourhood highlights

The Rio Vermelho neighborhood was inhabited by indigenous populations, mainly by the Carijós Indians, and later came to be occupied by Azorean and Madeiran descendants who developed the region's economy from agriculture, livestock, flour production in their mills, bobbin lace and fishing, which in the months of May to July stirs the community with mullet fishing.
