Evidently Tanya has a problem with the truth. After checking into the condo, she asked if she could extend her stay. Obviously she found it clean. It had been cleaned and inspected after the previous guest's departure a week before. There are two pillows on the bed in the bedroom. with extra linen in the linen closet. I asked her to cover the suede couch with the extra blanket to prevent from the baby soiling the couch. She said she did. Obviously, that was the extra blanket. Little did I suspect that they would be feeding the baby on the bedspread in the master bedroom. There was baby food found on it. The bedspread had just been dry cleaned prior to their arrival. When she indicated that her boyfriend and she slept separately, she could have used a flat sheet on the pullout sofa. To be accommodating I send over our property manager with a fitted sheet and extra linen. She did not indicate to the property manager that the condo was any thing but immaculate. Our property manager takes care of four of our condos and was not aware of Tanya's arrival the night before. She checks out the condos AFTER the guest departs then makes sure they are thoroughly cleaned and supplied with adequate linen, towels, soap, toliet
paper, paper towels, coffee filters, etc. Tanya complained about the garbage 24 hours AFTER her arrival. Evidently the garbage was hers. She called me at 1:30 am about the wifi. It's not true about other guests complaining about the cleanliness. We've gotten excellent ratings on all our condos. Our property manager overheard a conversation to airbnb asking for a different rental which was cheaper. That's why Tanya left after 2 days rather than the 4 she originally booked. I was relieved that she left and approved airbnb to refund her for the 2 night stay. The amount of my time that she took up with minute by minute text messaging (70 in 24 hours) and constantly asking to have the cleaning fee refunded was not worth my while. I was relieved when she left. Little did I know that they left the condo door unlocked and did not replace the key in the lockbox and left behind a remote which they contacted my property manager to return to them. Evidently they were slobs and disorganized. Good luck to anyone that rents to them.
