If you want something special and not the typical tourist hotels, you should stay there. Its just perfect and a lovely place to calm down and relax. The view to the river was stunning and the city centre is near by. Everything was clean and the staff guy just awesome and helpful to pimper us :). I would go there everytime again.

My overall stay was perfect. The villa complex was situated in a very great location, by the river Kwai and on the curve of the river. You can see River Kwai Bridge in a near distance on the left and beautiful sunset scene reflect on the river on the right. The room was decorated in loft style, steel frame, floor to ceiling glass wall and raw concrete. Bed was comfortable. Shower was spacious. Overall was neat and clean. The complex comprised of 6 rooms in 3 villas. Each room had separate entrance. All rooms had black-tile swimming pool and wooden terrace by the river as share facilities. Terrace is also big enough to equipped with BBQ stove, dining table, 3 set of leisure seats, beach chairs and hammocks. So you can relax in any style you preferred. I met with Khun Add, the host, on the last day. She was very friendly and welcome us like a family. She also suggested nice traveling spot you can't miss in Kanchanaburi with very useful information. I'll definitely be back here again and again.

This place is wonderful! Incredible views of the River and a beautifully thought out set of rooms. We were welcomed by the very friendly concierge with fruit and tea and spoke to Add on the phone about breakfast at the hotel close by - which she had kindly arranged for us. I would recommend the villas to anyone, absolute bliss. Thank you Add.

The place is beautiful with an amazing view of the river and with really nice rooms. There is also a restaurant close by that is a must. Add was very quick to get back to us whenever we had any questions and she even arranged a private car for us to take to Erawan Falls with our baby. We did find the place a little secluded (it's a good idea to bring a torch for the walk down the dirt road at night) and as we were the only guests it did feel a bit lonely. The pool is very deep so not the best for kids. Lastly we would have appreciated a mosquito net, as we got a lot of bites in the nights.

Absolutely amazing place to stay - perfect getaway from Bangkok on our first Thailand trip and couldn't be happier with our experience here! Add was super informative and accommodating to our needs as were her friendly staff :) My fiancé and I were fighting over extending our visit, but instead plan to return. Truly wish we could make this place out permanent home! Hehe. We're already bragging to friends and family of our stay here. THANK YOU MAKHAM VILLA ❤️

I was born and raised in Thailand; got my degree at Thammasat University and then went to graduate school in Washington DC. I now live and work here in Bangkok at a large life insurance/business company. I love to travel and have been to many countries all around the world (over 20 nations). My work requires me to constantly travel, so I seldom spend time at home. I enjoy fine food, love to have fun, and appreciate good music. I am also a big fan of Thai massage, and I run a small spa close to where I live. I have one son who recently graduated from high school school in Westchester County, New York and is now a junior at New York University. I can't wait to get to know and meet new people from all over the globe. I love to take my guests out for a drink and introduce them to the rich Thai culture and the great country of Thailand!
