Interaction with guests
I live on the first floor of the house and are always on hand should you need any help or advice about activities or places to go during your stay - or if you would like to rent one of our quad bikes. If you are carless we'd also be happy to offer you a ride to and from the village. But if you don't need our help we will happily leave you to get on and enjoy your holiday!
We have beaches within easy walking distance either side of us and 50 metres to the rear lies the Maritime Zone - a protected natural reserve that overlooks the Atlantic Ocean - that you can hear swooshing from the ground floor apartment.
The emphasis here is very much on relaxation. But if lying on the beach isn’t your thing - there is still plenty to do. Food is a big part of Berber life and Mirleft has plenty of mouthwatering options from spidercrab to camel tagines to saffron-scented chickpea stew.
Mirleft is home to some of the finest surfing spots on the SW coast of Morocco – and there are several well-established surf schools that offer training and equipment hire. The region is also renowned for its year-round near perfect paragliding conditions – and is very popular with European flyers looking to soar out of season. Other opportunities include quad biking in the desert, horse trekking in the mountains and diving for octopus under the rocky coastline.
There is a taxi rank in the village and an hourly bus service that runs from Sidi Ifni to Tiznit.
There is also parking right next to the house if you have a car.
For directions to and from Al Massira Airport, Agadir please contact us by email.
There are no rules - except to treat our apartment as you would your own home.
