Our house is a timber frame home in the quaint coastal village of Lamoine, Maine. It was built in 2009 by a local craftsman with environmental sustainability in mind. By incorporating items such as Forestry Stewardship Council certified timbers, dense-pack cellulose insulation, whole house fan for cooling and an on-demand hot water heater, guests can rest assured they are making as little impact on the planet as possible during their stay.
