In the heart of North Wales, "The Adventure Playground of Europe", but with the subtlety to welcome those visitors who prefer a quieter break, Surf View Cottage has been transformed from a former 'works' cottage into the perfect base for exploring the opportunities presented by the stunning Conwy Valley and Snowdonia.

The space
The groundfloor at Surf View Cottage is a light, open area, consisting of a living room with open conservatory; doorway into a well equipped kitchen and a second doorway off the living room into the wetroom.
On the first floor, we offer 3 bedrooms: Strictly 6 guests maximum.

Bedroom 1 is a spacy double bedroom with immediate views over Surf Snowdonia, and further towards the hills above Conwy River. This bedroom has a built-in wardrobe, with a toilet and wash basin in a separate enclosed space.
Bedroom 2 is a smaller bedroom with a double bed that is only accessible from one side.
Bedroom 3 has two single beds.
Strictly 6 guests maximum

External.
Parking for two medium sized vehicles is available. To the rear of the property we have a large store with washdown facilities and a cozy BBQ area.

Other things to note
We occasionally have Gas Bottle deliveries during your stay. These are very simple and take approximately 10 minutes. We will advise you if you might be affected.
We accept 1 dog at the property.
Dogs are under no circumstances to be left at the property or garden or in a cage unattended.

Traditional:
Mountain Bikers:
You are 5 miles from the renowned Marin Trail, described as "one of the 'musts' of North Wales for any serious mountain biker." Surf View Cottage is equipped with washdown facilities and 5 lever locks on our secure storage.

Kayaking:
You will be 7 miles from Conwy Quay and only 5 from Llanrwst. You can also put in at the Old Docks in Trefriw, which is a little over 3 miles from the cottage (closer to Llanrwst). There is also the option of Betws-y-Coed and the famous Conwy Falls. Secure storage for your equipment is available for you at Surf View Cottage.

Hiking/Hill Walking:
Nothing more needs saying, other than you are in Snowdonia. Drying room facility is available at Surf View Cottage.

Surf Snowdonia:
Surf View Cottage takes its name for the rear of the property view of Surf Snowdonia; the worlds first inland surfing lagoon. Surf Snowdonia is literally a 5 minute walk from the property. Surf View Cottage is set up with washdown and drying facilities for your clothes and equipment.

Zip World and Zip World Fforest:
You will be 9 miles from Zip World Fforest, with it's range of rope access, net walkways and more recent addition, Fforest Coaster, which is a 1km toboggan based rail ride through the local woodlands.

We (me and my wife Sascha) took on the project of 'Surf View Cottage' in December 2015. Following an extended renovation period we went 'Live' at the end of August 2017. Lots of thought, grunt and sweat went into converting a dated cottage into something we are very proud of. Light, light and more light was the plan and we think we achieved. Detail is everything to us; we really want you to enjoy your stay with us. Only 15 minutes away if you need us, but happy to not disturb you on your vacation if that's your choice. We appreciate the need to grab a cup of tea or coffee and a biscuit at the end of your drive, so there will always be a welcome at our place. Family people with two adult kids and a 10 year old, we know what it takes to keep them entertained on hols. We also have a Jack Russell- Keith, and know the place in the family of pets. So, we can generally accommodate families with dogs. If you choose to stay with us, we're sure you going to have a great time in a beautiful and exciting part of the world. Gary
