Hi Desiree, this is the most peculiar and unfair review we have ever received. Usually people don't review what is already made clear in the description of a place on the airbnb website. As a guest in my home and reviewer, it is my expectation as a host that you are comparing your experience to what would be expected AFTER reading the description of our place. If you are a future guest reading this - please take note: do not review our place on something that any person would know after reading about our place. The house rules as well as the fact that from the room, upstairs noise can be heard in the evenings until 9 or 10 at night is all clearly and unabashedly described in our description on the airbnb site.
I find it quite strange and demeaning for you to call me peculiar after I welcomed you and your boyfriend wholeheartedly - not too little nor too much. I would hope that after making sure you had everything you needed, telling you about the extra blankets we provide in case you need them and asking you about your visit to Berkeley you might have felt well taken care of. If a neighbor made you feel uncomfortable parking on the street, that is unusual and has never happened before to a guest. The street parking surrounding every area around our house is absolutely public and every guest we have ever had with a car has always parked on the street, never receiving any type or ticket or reprimand.
