Elizabeth is a great host. The place functions similar to a regular apartment so Elizabeth acts sort of as a landlord, and I mean that in a positive way. She lives almost next door to the building so she's always available if you need help with anything. If you're on a business trip and need a place in Topeka that's furnished (the furniture is pretty nice too), has wireless internet access in the rooms (it works with game systems as well), cable, a tv already in the room, has the essentials like a refrigerator, stove, and microwave, then I highly recommend this place. There is also a washer and dryer on each floor that you can use for $3.50 per load (includes wash and dry). There are also a few dishes, pots and pans, towels, and washcloths in the room, which saves you the trouble of having to bring most of those types of things. The only downside is that Elzabeth's properties are close to the bad side of town and you will hear at least one siren or gunshot on an almost daily basis. Despite that, the place itself is very quiet so you need not be concerned about rowdy neighbors disturbing you with a lot of noise and the immediate area where Elizabeth's properties are is safe. There is also a part of town less than ten minutes away that has a bunch of great places to eat (Denny's, Cici's Pizza, Red Lobster, Noodles and Company, Chipotle, your standard fast food places, etc) as well as a Target, Wal-mart, and Sam's Club, and they're all on pretty much the same street so it's really convenient. Just make sure that if you cook you are prepared to wash dishes by hand, there is no dishwasher here. Overall this is an awesome place to stay for business travelers who like their privacy.
