Shires Rest is a self-contained sympathetically converted out building with en-suite (power shower) and kitchen facilities. Shires Rest is situated in 40 acres of farm land which you are welcome to explore . We have a barn complete with bbq, pizza oven and fire-pit which will be lit for you at your request, please ask for prices. Your very own hot tub is for your sole use. Enjoy the night sky and the call of the owls whilst enjoying your food and the crackle and warmth of the log burner

Shire's Rest is an absolutely gorgeous little escape surrounded by outstanding scenery. Jackie is an amazing host, and no request was too much for her. The place was beautifully decorated and incredibly clean. We're looking forward to a return visit in the near future!

Good sense of humour, willing to go the extra mile to exceed guests expectation. Approachable, good cook, friendly and enjoy meeting people. I love gardening, reading and Zumba classes. Like a glass of wine over the week-end and partaking in social activities.
Interaction with guests
Whilst we live on the farm, we leave our guests to enjoy our facilities and we are always on hand to assist with queries or requests no matter how small, we will do our very best to accommodate. Let us know if you would like the bbq, pizza oven or fire-pit lighting.
