We had arranged to meet Lisa at the port at a designated point of her choosing. Our boat was 20 minutes late and foolishly we didn't contact her to let her know, as we had told her the boat we were taking and the times the day before so we assumed she would know of any delays. We couldn't see anyone at the meeting point that looked like they were waiting for us so we called and text the number that Lisa had provided a few times with no response. Once standing there for 15 minutes a lady who had been sat on a bench right by us talking on the phone the entire time of our wait looked over and pointed at us and stated that she had been calling us and thought we were not coming?! Lisa then walked us to the house and showed us around the rooms, kindly pointing out out coffee in the cupboard we could use and then started unplugging the Wi-Fi and switching it on and off and said that the previous guests mentioned it didn't work however the bills had been paid and it should be working. We arrived on the Saturday and therefor the technician wouldn't be able look at it until Monday. Lisa said she would find out, when we text to ask Sunday morning she said it would be Monday. We were uncomfortable having strangers in the house whilst we were out and it was our last day on the island so wanted to go out for the day so we said that we would prefer to leave it. When Lisa left we started to unpack and realised that the cleanliness of the house was very poor, the furniture was old and stained and the bedding was faded and thin. The towels that were provided were small and scratchy and we hadn't traveled with an alternative. The floors had not been cleaned since the previous guest and the shower attachment and curtain were rusty and stained. We had to re wash all of the glasses and cups with a old damp dish cloth and were frankly disappointed as we had chosen the house as it looked clean, had good reviews and a relatively high price therefore expected some home luxuries. Myself and my stepmother whom I was traveling with both run businesses and needed internet access to control things whilst on holiday and had to spend a lot of time rushing to cafes and bars with wifi. This ruined our meals out as we ended up stuck to our phones using the wifi whilst we were out of the house. This was a really special trip I had planned for my step mother, younger sister and I to spend some quality time together on a new adventure and unfortunately our experience in Paros was tainted by disappointing accommodation, a strange greeting, a lack of apology or compensation and looking forward to moving on to cleaner dwellings. The house is...

We had a very nice stay. Lisa picked us up at the port and brought us to the house! A 5 min walk. The house is small but very nice. The location is perfect!

Lisa is a very nice host, she met us at the port and brought to the apartment. Before the arrival she provided us with all the information we needed, it was hassle-free process. The only negative point about our stay was that the house was not very clean especially the floor (full of sand) and the bathroom (the toilette was not cleaned for ages), the refrigerator was somewhat cleaned, but there were some spots from some sauce there as well. I have reported it to Lisa and she thanked me for the feedback.

The apartment is spacious and comfortable. The port and all its restaurants are easily within walking distance. The beds are firm. Communication with Lisa was good throughout.
