Charming room with panoramic private terrace overlooking the olive groves in a typical Andalusian village just 4 km out of Granada. You will enjoy the tranquility of the village, the great view up to the snow-capped mountains whilst being only 20 minutes by bus from the center.
We offer a nicely furnished bedroom with ensuite bathroom on the first floor of our newly renovated house with all modern commodities. The location is especially recommended for persons who love to hike or bike.

The space
Our typical Andalusian home is part of a heritage site in a village just 4 km out of Granada. You will love the tranquility of the village, the great view over the olive groves up to the snow-capped mountains of Sierra Nevada, the closeness to Granada’s city center, our arty home, the gracious room, sunbathing on your private terrace and your friendly hosts, Christine and Philippe.
We offer a delightful bedroom with ensuite bathroom on the first floor of our newly renovated home with all modern commodities. The room has direct access to a private terrace with panoramic views to Sierra Nevada.
Guests can share another terrace with view to Sierra de Huetor to sunbathe in full privacy on the deck chairs, or to chill out in the garden in the hammock under our shady nut trees or take a dip in the swimming pool.
Use of kitchen and washing machine are upon request.
There is easy free parking in the streets nearby.
It is only a 10-minute bus ride to the famous Moorish district Albaycin and a 20-minute bus ride to the City Center. The bus stop is located directly in front of the house and the bus will take you directly into the city center.
There are 2 restaurants in the village: El Caldero (bohemian chic, closed on Mondays) and El Padilla (typical local food).
There is no shop in the village.
The location is especially recommended for persons who love to hike as you can hike directly from the front door to Albaycin, Sacromonte Abbey or the Alhambra. Also, we are only a short drive away from some of the most popular hiking trails in Sierra de Huetor or Sierra Nevada. We can provide you with maps and advise you on the many hikes available.
The Sierra Nevada ski resort is a 45-minute drive door to door. The closest beach in Salobreña can be reached within one hour.
We also rent a one-bedroom apartment with a capacity of 4 people on the first floor of our home. An outside terrace is linking the apartment to the guest room, which allows you to enjoy a private access.
We will do our best to make your stay in Granada as pleasant and enjoyable possible. We are happy to help you planning your stay and to advise you on the most interesting places to visit, the most popular local bars to savor great tapa with a fine glass of wine or where to dine. There is so much more to do in Granada than visiting the Alhambra!
We like to share time with our guests but do perfectly understand if you wish privacy. We do speak English, French, German and Spanish.

As a retired engineer and architect, we are interested in arts, literature, yoga and cultural heritage. We love uncovering the numerous monuments and hiking the beautiful Sierras of Granada . We have a dog named Cachi. Christine is a certified Yoga teacher. She would be delighted to give you a Yoga class or Energy massage.
