Neighbourhood highlights

From our apartment, you can explore on foot the city the ancient Romans called "Caput Mundi."
Ours is an ancient "Rione" called "Borgo Pio," frequented by locals and tourists. Four narrow, parallel streets: Borgo Vittorio, Borgo Pio, Borgo S. Angelo, and Borgo Angelico, run alongside the "Passetto," an 800-meter-long elevated pedestrian walkway connecting the Vatican to Castel Sant'Angelo. Popes would take refuge in the castle in times of danger via the "Passetto di Borgo." Among charming corners, historic buildings, and small squares with fountains, artisans, upholsterers, blacksmiths, stamp makers, restaurants, pizzerias, bars, and ice cream shop, offer a warm welcome and a glimpse into the past. Three supermarkets and traditional grocery stores are also available. A 10-minute walk from "Borgo" (as the Romans call it), "Via Cola di Rienzo" offers shopping and strolls with an aperitif, tea, or beer. You'll love it!

Lives in Rome, Italy
I was born and raised in Rome. I love traveling, cooking good food, and drinking good red wine. I like nature, animals, the countryside, art, theater, and ballet. I don't do much sport, but I do take long walks in beautiful Rome, which is able to surprise you in every season. Greetings to everyone !
