Your accommodation has a Mediterranean look, surrounded by a tree-rich, mostly indigenous garden which was developed organically by me since 2005. The view to the sunny north features Storms River Peak with a strip of Fynbos which consist of small scrubby plants, Erica, Proteas and Restio reeds.
Take a 2 km walk along the old Port Elizabeth road to the cool leafy Plaatbos indigenous forest. You will pass the Segway centre, some eateries, a craft beer brewery and the canopy tour company.

The space
My house is in a large peaceful garden.
Guests are welcome to share the kitchen and lounge where there is a slow combustion stove which my son or I light on cold days.
The Within 1km there are restaurants, a hotel and local brewery, groceries and booking offices for different adventures. The gate to Plaatbos indigenous forest is 2 km away and a short walk through our 'Fynbos' is close to my house.

Storms River Village is a small village with trees and green street verges and beautiful gardens, a number of tourist adventures and restaurants with delicious craft beer. If you continue along our main street, Darnell street, in a easterly direction you will enter the indigenous forest called Plaatbos, with small streams across the road which enter into the Storms river. These streams become wonderful fast flowing streams when we have a lot of rain. A few kilometers down hill you will arrive at the Storms river and a picnic site and a low cement bridge. There are also many other hikes on narrower tracks which you can take.

Hello dear guests, I live in a beautiful part of S.A., close to the Tsitsikamma National Park, the Bungy Jump, the beautiful Afro-montaine forests, 2 ziplines, Segway rides and hiking trails.
I'm a grandmother of 4 grandchildren who call me Gogo ( the Xhosa word for grandmother). I am I am a single woman, vegetarian (mostly), a passionate gardener, I love reading and have no TV .
Another passion of mine is my ongoing vision to see that everyone in the village recycle their household refuse.
I have 2 bedrooms listed, you may share the kitchen and there is a big garden in which you can wander.
Come and enjoy all the adventure activities, the peaceful forests and this small village with its green gardens.

Two dogs, Perry and Chooky, and Jean Gray, my son's cat, share the property with us.
