Located right in the heart of Beechworth this upmarket fully self-contained historical home offers romantic accommodation for a couple, a family, or a group of up to 6 people, next door to the best shops, wine bars and cafes in Beechworth with on street car parking out front and bike storage

This luxuriously renovated 1874 home spans 2 levels with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with the upstairs room being where Beechworth historical photographer J E Bray took famous portraits of the Ned Kelly Gang

The space
If you like stylish upmarket accommodation with history and want to be able to just walk everywhere then this is the place for you (you will need to drive or hike back to most other holiday homes in Beechworth - which isn't much fun if you all want is to enjoy the nearby famous Billsons and Bridgeroad Breweries or wine bars!).

You have access to the entire self contained house and sunny private courtyard. Marlo has three queen size bedrooms (all with queen beds) and two bathrooms. Please make sure you book for the correct number of guests as additional bedrooms may be locked if we don’t think you need them for your stay to minimise cleaning.

A fantastic cafe right next door on one side of Marlo for brunch and a Tapas wine bar on the other side for dinner. A few metres walk to the famous Beechworth Bakery, Beechworth Honey and Billsons and Bridge Road Breweries. An IGA supermarket is around the corner.

Lives in Beechworth, Australia
I have lived in Beechworth North East Victoria for 29 years. I have seen Beechworth transform from a majority Psyche, prison working township transformed to a exciting historic tourist destination. One thing has remained, breathe taking scenery, friendly, supportive community, with the odd quirky country character. I have ridden and owned horses for 50 years, and the amazing mountain rides and trails was one of my draw cards to moving to this beautiful part of the world. Thankfully, all the new clothes Beechworth is wearing these days has not changed the very heart of what i fell in love with, it is still a beautiful country town, where I can still ride my horses on the side of the roads, and get kind and considerate drivers passing me with care, the one finger wave and a stop and chat. Come and enjoy our beautiful home.....we want you to come and have a sleep over and enjoy all our beautiful scenery, historical buildings, restaurants, great shopping and the best wineries in Victoria.
