No words will ever come close to explaining how incredible Luca was. I ended up booking this accommodation last minute as a second choice to a pre booked course in Perugia that fell through. I couldn't have been luckier to have booked a room in this incredible house with Luca. He took me in like a long lost family member and I've never felt more included or loved by someone I barely knew than this. I have left feeling like a piece of my heart has been left in Italy. Luca and his incredibly wonderful friends have made me feel like part of the family. My room, on the ground floor, with my own private balcony and furniture outside, were wonderful. My room was huge with a private bathroom and I felt like I very much had my own private quarters. The pool was incredible and Luca couldn't have been more generous with offers to join him and his friends for dinner and drinks. I cannot rate Luca's hospitality highly enough, in fact it's the Burj Al Arab of 7 Star love! If you love beautiful views, increidble hospitality and wonderful people with peace and quiet... this is the place for you. A wonderful, tranquil Italian home with an incredible host whom I'd have liked to take home. I cannot wait to return, and introduce my new family, and experience the wonder that is Perugia ❤xxx

The weekend spent at Luca's house has been amazingly perfect. The house is located in a very silent place with an outstanding view, and at the same time surprisingly near to the hystorical citycentre of Perugia (5 min by car). The house is big, very well furnished, beautiful, sunny, the room is quiet, fresh during summertime, wiht a dedicated bathroom, the kitchen is also available for host's breakfast with all the facilities you may need. The swimming pool in the garden at hosts disposal is really beautiful for chill out and for tan. Lastly, Luca is a really great host, careful and helpful for making your staying there an unforgettable experience. I just would like to come back there as soon as possible!

Luca and Fabiana were fantastic hosts. Their place is very accomodating to guests and they really open up the use of the rest of the property to you. The pool was an awesome treat on our transition from the beach into Umbria/Tuscany. Perugia is now my most fav town in Italy - what an incredible place! Luca's place is is the best part of Perugia. We had a car so that helped. His place is hard to find so I would recommend getting directions from him ahead of time.

Luca and Fabiana are very friendly and went out of their way to make me confortable. I arranged to arrive a day earlier than originally intended, but got confused and actually arrived two days early. Luca and Fabiana were most gracious and welcoming all the same, and didn't for a moment make me feel bad about it. The area of the house I had to myself was spaceous, included balcony space with a magnificant view, and also included a bathroom with a tub, shower and toilet. The plumbing was a little dodgy (water ran out of the bath while I was in it, and the shower head didn't give a great stream of water) but it still felt pretty luxurious. If you're a non-smoker - like me - you'll probably want to stick to your own quarters as much as possible because the rest of the house always smells a little of stale cigarette smoke, but this smell didn't intrude in my own area. It is possible to stay here without a car, but you need to be willing to be a bit resourceful and/or take a few taxis - a little expensive in Perugia. I managed by taking a bus into town (at the very few and early times available) and walking home. Walking both ways, and having energy left to walk around town would be asking a lot of yourself as it's uphill all the way. But walking home is possible if you are sensible about making sure you can be seen by traffic, and carry a torch if it's dark. One day the buses weren't running and I hitch-hiked up the hill. The woman who stopped was delightful, and I had a most enjoyable day. I did get the impression though that most Peruginas are unlikely to st. I was disappointed that the pool was covered throughout my visit: it was one of my reason's for choosing this place. I had writing work to do, and swimming, or something similar is an essential part of maintaining my well-being. It would not have been too cold to swim by my standards. Otherwise, a really enjoyable experience!
