About this listing

Located on Causeway Coastal Route road close to the Gobbins path and Game of Thrones sites, a comfortable bed and breakfast , with views of the sea and Glens. Bright, spacious ensuite rooms in superb location for ferries to Scotland and touring the North and West of Ireland

The space

The house is situated on the Causeway Coastal Route within easy reach of many of the North of Ireland's main tourist attractions, including the city of Belfast with its Titanic Museum, Game of Thrones Dark Hedges, the castles of Carrickfergus and Glenarm , Giants Causeway, and the Ulster Way.The house is full of natural light with views of the sea or the Glens of Antrim from every window. The bedrooms all have sea views, and breakfast is served in in a delightful space with views on all sides. The house inspires imagination and a desire to explore this beautiful part of Ireland, while offering a relaxed and peaceful sanctuary for travellers who want to recharge their batteries.

There are 2 double bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with a double and a single bed. Both rooms are en suite. Guests have full use of a lounge with book shelves, TV and wood burning stove and are encouraged to make themselves at home.

Interaction with guests

Kinnalargy is my home so I am there to greet guests, provide breakfast and to give information on the many amenities and experiences to explore in the Glens area. I enjoy meeting and chatting to guests, but the house is spacious enough to allow everyone to have their own privacy.

Other things to note

A golden retriever called Amber and a fluffy black and white cat called Oscar live at the house, and are both very friendly.

Margy was a fab host! If driving along the Coastal Causeway Route then this is a great stop off. Additionally a great base for exploring NI with Belfast, Giants Causeway and many other attractions nearby. The village itself is quiet. The house itself is beautiful just as expected from the pictutes. Views of the sea one side and countryside the other side. The en-suite was more than expected with a great power shower! Perfect to warm up if caught out with the Irish weather. We also had added bonus of our sitting room and TV to chill out in the evening. Breakfast was a wonderful range of fruits, yoghurt, granola, croissants and scrambled eggs with toast, tomatoes, mushroom and bacon or salmon. We had one mishap where I had only paid for one person not two (oops) but this was settled with no issues. Note price is per person not room but worth it. Wonderful stay - thanks Margy for being so warm and welcoming :)

Margy's place was incredible in every way. The view of the Atlantic Way & the pasture land was breathtaking. Located right in the Coastal Road, Margy's home was close to all the beauty of the Antrim coast as well as a quick visit to Portrush. The place is decorated nicely and very clean and cozy. We felt like we had our privacy but also was able to speak with Margy easily if needed. She made us a nice breakfast every morning with an array of cereals, yogurts, fresh fruits, and warm breakfast as well. Margy was very helpful in mailing a package for us as well. I would say she is a very generous host with a lot of information about the country and the area as well as the history. I would highly recommend staying here and hope to return sometime in the near future.

The house is clean and tidy and the room/bathroom was well presented, Margy's breakfasts are a great start to the day. Margy can help with all questions on the area and suggested some great sites for us to go see, we would not hesistate in staying there again

We had such a lovely time at Kinnalargy B&B. The location is absolutely beautiful... just a stones throw from Giants Causeway and all the other stunning natural wonders Northern Ireland has to offer. Margy is an absolutely wonderful host. She helped us plan some of trip and even offered a nice wee history lesson about Belfast. We felt right at home the whole time! I highly recommend Kinnalargy for anyone seeking a comfortable, relaxing stay in a picturesque setting.

Margy was really great. She was very helpful with providing places to go, and her home was beautiful. The views from her home are amazing, and Ballygalley was a cool place to see. Would definitely visit and stay at Margy's again.

Margy and Amber welcomed us very warmly! Her home is superb, with great views of the sea and Scotland from our room and breakfast/sun room. Margy's recommendation to the Halfway Hotel was just what we wanted! Breakfast of fresh local smoked salmon for breakfast was a rare treat! Thank you Margy!

Hi my name is Margy. I live in beautiful Ballygally and worked with older people in Belfast. I started my bed and breakfast business in 2013 and enjoy welcoming guests to my home. I returned to Ireland several years ago after living in England and Wales. I love meeting the diverse and interesting people who travel to this part of Ireland.
