In just 4–5 minutes by bike, you can reach some of the most beautiful beaches in Italy, supermarkets, the Chia Laguna Hotel, and a variety of excellent restaurants. You've probably heard of Chia's dream beaches... but do you also know the hidden hiking trails? From which you can enjoy unique views, they lead you to swimming coves, which are hardly visited even in the high season. Have you ever bathed in holes that the Phoenicians dug into the rocks thousands of years ago and are still filled with seawater by the mistral? Riding along the beach or looking for mushrooms in the woods, cooking a risotto in the evening or roasting a suckling pig on the fire... eating homemade bread or rummaging through the markets for authentic food is also part of my Sardinia. Eat fish that was swimming in the sea the night before or prepare vegetables and fruits that taste like what they look like... Good food plays an important role for us and you get more than enough of it here.

Auch wenn ich in der Schweiz aufgewachsen bin fühle ich mich mittlerweile hier genau so zu Hause, wie nördlich der Alpen. In Sardinien vernarrt, entschloss ich mich vor einigen Jahren meine Zeit auf der Insel zu verbringen. Ich mag ihre liebenswürdigen Bewohner, ihre wundervollen Landschaften und kämpfe täglich mit der Versuchung der hiesigen Küche. Neben dem Segeln ist der argentinische Tango meine grosse Leidenschaft. Genau so gerne versuche ich mich im Wellenreiten oder fahre nach Cagliari um zu tanzen. Besonders die etwas abgelegenen Trattoria's mit ihrer authentischen, sardischen Küche haben se mir angetan. Einkaufen auf den Märkten und mit Freunden kochen, ein Jazzkonzert besuchen, im Herbst Oliven ernten und daraus Öl pressen oder in den Wäldern nach Pilzen suchen mich genau so, wie ein Besuch in der neuen Stadtbibliothek von Cagliari. Früher reiste ich viel. You are beruflich oder auch private. Mittlerweile weiss ich die Ruhe und die geerdeten Menschen hier mehr zu schätzen als den Trubel auf Flughäfen und touristischen Hotspots. Die Insel und ihre Menschen liegen mir am Herzen und daher freut es mich, wenn Du dich dafür interesierst. I enjoy surfing or going to Cagliari for an evening of dancing. I am particularly attracted by small, somewhat out-of-the-way trattorias, where you can still taste typical and genuine dishes. Going to do the shopping at the market and then cook the very fresh products with friends, visit a concert of jazz music, in the autumn period participate in the collection of olives and see them squeeze before my eyes, go to mushrooms or spend hours in the library of Cagliari, are the activities I particularly love. I've traveled a lot in the past, both for business and private reasons. In the meantime, I prefer and appreciate the tranquillity of these unspoiled places and the authenticity of their inhabitants much more than crowded airports and mass tourist destinations.
