Our home is set up so you will not have to leave the house for the basics, unless you want to.

The space
This is our holiday home in the hills that we have spent the past year working on the garden and renovating the indoors to make it an even more pleasurable family friendly and wedding couple stay. We have two queen bedrooms available for guests or upon request for families with littlies can make a bedroom containing a single bed and cot available.

Please note:
Our home is not a party house. We trust you will understand our policy of strictly no parties or smoking inside. We also trust you will have consideration for our neighbours and you accept the House Rule of minimising noise after 10.00 pm.
For 2 guests = 1 b/room will be prepared.
For 3 - 4 guests = 2 b/rooms will be prepared.
We prepare the bedrooms in the expectation that guests are couples and share. If guests wish separate rooms please just increase the number of people staying in your booking request to access an additional bedroom.

Where you’ll be

Mount Dandenong, Victoria, Australia

Mount Dandenong is located less than 5 minutes from the popular tourist town of Olinda and is also close to Kalorama in Melbourne's bushy and scenic Dandenong Ranges. The area is well known for wedding venues, trail walking and as a convenient launching pad to visit the Yarra Valley vineyards.

The community of Mount Dandenong includes a number of boutique restaurants and stylish accommodation establishments which are tucked away in secluded spots along forest roads. Our favourite is the Pig and Whistle, an English Pub with the largest parma's you've ever seen and an extensive range of boutique beers.

Much of Mount Dandenong is occupied by the Dandenong Ranges National Park, which offers a vast network of walking tracks through native Australian bush in a scenic and mountainous environment.

Mark and I met in unusual circumstances - in Samoa, for the reality TV show Survivor. We now divide our time between our home in the Dandenong Ranges and interstate for work. Travel is a huge part of our lives and we love staying at other AirBnB homes whether it is for work or pleasure. For us it is far more relaxing and gives us the ability to feel at home even when we are away from home. Mark loves surfing, boxing, crossfit, reading the paper and eating cheese. Samantha is an avid trail runner who charges up by spending time with her family and close girlfriends.
