A humble room, but just right for the price. Very kind and generous hosts!

I made it (Guardian Room) work for the two nights I stayed, but the description is not very accurate. The bathroom is shared and the shower is a stand-alone tub with a curtain built around it. My room was very tiny and the bed is unsuitable for anyone of above average size. The neighborhood is great--good cafes and restaurants a short walk away, and there is bus stop to downtown at the corner--but if you need a feeling of privacy and you are above average size I would find other accommodations.

The room was close to the Convention center, but I think I failed to realize how included it was with the whole guest families space.

The location and price of this listing is great. Some parts could be made better but overall this is a good value.

I decided to stay here to avoid a very expensive downtown room for a conference I was attending, and for that it definitely worked. It is a lovely neighborhood with lots of restaurants within easy walking distance (right on Lyndale or you can walk a few blocks to Hennepin, etc.). Hosts were helpful. Room for improvement: I would have appreciated a curtain or blinds on the window and a lock on the bedroom door. Also, the bathroom was not clean. For the price though (compared to $199 per night + taxes + parking at the hilton), I can't complain much. Also just a note that you may end up having to park a block or so away if there are no spots on the street in front of the house. Lastly, FYI there is no microwave in case you think you may need one.

Micheal and Christine were very welcoming in addition being helpful when it came to navigating the bus system. The accommodations were simple but clean. The hosts responded promptly and generously with any request I had. The house is near a busy road so for someone who is not accustomed to that it can be distracting at night. Overall, a decent place to stay for the money you are paying.

We're fun! We're crazy! We're creative and people like us. Come stay at our house! We like to dream! We like to build a new world based on love and art and composting! We want a forest for a garden! We like exclamation points!! Sam likes cheesecake! We like you, maybe!?! - Michael & Christine + Sam(uel) and Violet!

We're moving forward on a rainwater catchment/filtration system. We have about 3.2 zillion (est.) edible wildthings growing in our yardforestgarden. I (whoever *that* is) personally cannot wait for the Lambsquarters seeds in autumn!
