It is a cozy place. A sofa bed is available in the living room to accomodate an extra guest.
If tired from a day on the beach or strolling around the city, you can enjoy sauna, a whirlpool bath or simply hang out by the swimming pool.
Interaction with guests
There is a nice coffee shop, a terrific bakery store and fine restaurants within walking distance.
For your beach safety, a lifeguard station is located right in front of the building.
CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT INFORMATION
o The flexible check-in and check-out policy applies only when booking calendar allows it (no guests checking in or out the same day).
o Check In is 1:00 PM. However I am happy to accomodate the guests upon calendar availabilities.
o Check Out is Noon. Extended checkout is available if departure is later on the day.
SMOKING / PETS / GUESTS
o No smoking is allowed. Smoking inside the apartment will result in loss of deposit.
o Pets are not allowed.
o We encourage all renters to purchase traveler insurance.
o Visitors are allowed only with prior permission from homeowner.
o Number of guests must be indicated in the booking request. Adding more guests after the initial booking will be allowed only if an agreement is reached with homeowner. Any other person in the property is the sole responsibility of Guest.
o Cancellation policy is “strict policy”. Guest can find the cancellation policy on the booking confirmation.
o This unit is privately owned; Owner is not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or in its facilities. Owner is not responsible for any loss of personal belongings or valuables. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite into the building premises.
o Guest shall be responsible for any fines that may be incurred due to violation of any laws, the convention or internal regulations of the building in which the apartment is located. Payment of the fine shall be made before departure, as soon the owner is notified of the value of said fine.
GROUNDS FOR EXPULSION
o In case the guest gets into trouble with the police involving illegal drugs or any other illegal conduct in Brazil, the owner will not be able to assist guests in any way, and will proceed to evict guest immediately with no refund and full loss of deposit.
o Grounds for expulsion:
o Breaking terms of the contract
o Guests staying in the property other than the initial agreement
o Disturbing the neighbors, loud parties, prostitution, negligence, drugs, property damage or any other detrimental conduct.
o No loud parties or noises are allowed after 10:00PM. If such behavior takes place, the deposit will be held as Condominium fines apply. Any complaints received from neighbors and notified by the condominium association will result in the loss of the deposit. If a second complaint is filed, an immediate eviction notice will be applied with no refund of rent, nor deposit.
o If eviction occurs, guest will receive notification from the doorman or homeowner. Eviction notice takes effect immediately and the maid, doorman as well as private security officer (if case applies) will be allowed in the property to help the eviction process.
DEPOSIT, KEYS AND PASSPORT
o Deposit will be returned if there is no damage to the property or furnishings. The guests are financially responsible if an excessive cleaning is required and the deposit will be withheld.
o Guest will be given sets of keys. If one or more keys are stolen/lost, homeowner must be notified immediately. For security reasons, door locks will have to be changed, as well as six new sets of keys (3 for the guests, 1 for housekeeper, 2 for owner). A 200 US$ fee from the deposit will apply to cover the charges.
o If the premises appear dirty or damaged upon Check-in, or if any item is damaged or missing, guest shall inform Homeowner immediately. Copy of each guest's Passport (for foreigners) or Brazilian ID (accepted only for Brazilians) must be handed upon check-in, or sent by email at least 48H before check-in. Copies will be handed back at check out. Please note access to the property will not be allowed without these copies.
o By making a reservation, guest agrees that he/she has read and understands the house rules.
