Contemporary 2 story apartment in a safe and quiet neighborhood. Cozy and clean apt, 5 minute walk to the beach, bluff top coastal trail. 10 minute walk to downtown and the farmers market (seasonal). Tesla charger available upon request. Responsive and accommodating hosts.

The space
Bright modern design with radiant floor heating throughout, solar powered skylights, 2nd floor balcony for gorgeous sunsets and a peek of the ocean. Eat-in kitchen with built in bench seating surrounded by natural light and the outdoors. Cooking essentials, microwave, toaster, french press, instant hot water tap for tea/oatmeal/ramen.

Bedroom and bathroom on the first floor. Living room and 2nd bedroom on the second floor. Upstairs bedroom is small and cozy bedroom. Private walkway leading to a separate entrance and spacious 1st floor deck with comfortable built-in seating. Reclaimed redwood furniture throughout made from the deck that was once here for an additional touch of sustainable living. Hot outdoor shower for rinsing off after the beach.

The apartment shares a wall with the main home (where kids and a dog live) so there may be some noise between 7:00 am-8:30 pm but we try to respect our guests during all hours.

We look forward to hosting people from all backgrounds to our home.

Guest access
Guests have private access to the back deck and outdoor shower. These specs in addition to all interior spaces are not shared spaces and are solely for guest use.

Other things to note
Welcome to our Beach apartment in Half Moon Bay CA 94019. You may park on the right, east, side of the driveway.

The private entrance to the apartment is along the right hand side of the garage around the BACK of the house, purple door. Code to enter. Please be respectful of the neighbors and keep noise to a minimum along the pathway to the apartment.

Basics are provided for you — sheets, towels, beach towels, shampoo, soap, pots, pans, utensils, coffee, sugar etc.

On the table you will find the welcome letter that describes the house rules, what we suggest in terms of restaurants, emergency contacts as well as the wifi codes. Please read them attentively.

The easiest way down to the beach is going to the end of our street then heading a little bit north on the paved path until you see the trail down to the beach.

We take great pride in our guest house and enjoy providing a cozy, private and clean place close to the beach. We hope to earn a 5 star rating from every guest. If for what ever reason you are not completely satisfied or feel something is missing please do not hesitate to contact us. We are a mere text or call away.

Our apartment is located in a quiet, safe neighborhood steps from a park/playground. 10 minute walk to downtown Half Moon Bay where you can find locally owned shops, a wine bar, microbrewery, coffee shops, driving range, beachfront yoga studio, library, salons, olive oil tasting, farmers market and several excellent restaurants. Purisima Creek Redwood park is a 12 minute drive with picturesque redwoods along side a creek great for hiking, trail runs and mt. biking.

Located 28 miles south of San Francisco, the City of Half Moon Bay is a community of about 12,500 people, situated on the peninsula between forested hills and some of the most beautiful coastlines that California has to offer. Its historic downtown is home to numerous shops, art galleries, restaurants, bed and breakfasts, and other businesses, and its celebrated beaches and parks are wonders of nature, accessible to pedestrians, bicyclists, and equestrians. With its many activities and events, beautiful natural scenery, old-town charm, and abundance of retail and commercial services, Half Moon Bay is a regional destination.
