Phil's house is a nice base for trips in the surrounding of Sai Kung. After a few days in Hong Kong city it is the perfect place for some quietness after the buzzling city life. The house is a bit outside of Sai Kung but can be reached by a 10-15 min walk through the forest. Sai Kung is a nice fishing village with boutiques, shops and restaurants. The famous Mc Lehose trail is nearby and we also went to Sha Tin to see the 10.000 Buddhas temple (30 min by bus). Marjorie the house maid is very friendly, obliging and communicative. She gave us a heartly welcome and even cooked breakfast for us the first day. Would recommend staying here!

Helped my parents book a few nights stay at Phil's place. The place was clean and neat as per what was shown on the photos. Nonetheless, my parents enjoyed their stay there. Will highly recommend to anyone visiting Sai Kung

A lovely house, decorated with taste, in a lovely quiet countryside surrounding. Clean, comfortable and friendly environment, with a wonderful 20 min walk into town through the Sai Kung countryside, so quiet. Great base to explore from.

It was a nice stay in Phil's house. The neighborhood was quiet. Phil was responsive, despite not being in Hong Kong. It was quite a luxurious amount of space that we had, namely, a bedroom, living room and a bathroom to ourselves. Though his house was not that near to the town area, the walk to the town was a scenic and adventurous walk. Heading back to the house was usually by taxis and Uber, because it was dark. We were offered eggs and toast for breakfast. There are plenty of food choices in the town area, if you want to explore. The bed was firm and the quilt was warm. There were 4 pillows of varying firmness to choose from! We could also watch movies and Youtube on the television. The water pressure was strong in the shower, with a good heating system which provided hot water for shower for 2 persons consecutively. This was a plus point, as we stayed during the colder months in Hong Kong. It was a great experience staying there. Thanks to Phil, who gave us an opportunity to stay at his lovely home!

I live alone in a beautiful and spacious home in Sai Kung. I grew up in Hong Kong and only recently returned after living about 20 years in the United States. I come from a hospitality background, so I can help you find the local place in Sai Kung or the big shops in Hong Kong. I have a tiny garden with some fruit trees (a rarity in HK!), and it's a great place to sit and enjoy a nice wine. I travel a lot for work so might not be around, but I have a domestic helper who lives onsite. I have a great rescue cat named Lola; she keeps pretty much to herself.

I treat everyone how I want to be treated.
