I have a single bedroom in my cosy cottage down a back lane in Mullumbimby. It is 2 minutes walk from town, a huge veranda living area and an outside bathtub.

The space

A quirky boho Mullumbimby experience of the Byron shire that feels like your own home.
It is best suited to a single female who enjoys an artistic home which includes good coffee, good music and fresh flowers.

We had a great stay here, mullumbimby is a lovely place and Joni adopted us and became our second mum. She was great company and her house is very special.

I stayed a week and my experience was fantastic. Joni is an amazing and kind host. I cannot speak highly enough. The outdoor bath was a great daily dose of therapy. Most definitely I will be returning ... and soon. Mullumbimby precinct is so close with Byron Bay just a 15 min drive away. Joni ....Thankyou , Thankyou !

Joni was very welcoming and I felt at home there. We had a lot in common (music, love of nature, concerns about the world, understanding life!) and had lots to talk about. For 5 days I drove to the Bluesfest and to friends, so i was leaving and arriving at all times - but this was never an issue and Joni even came twice with me. I had no problem taking the laneway to the back entry to the property. Joni thought it was a bit tight, but its easier than my garage - a relief. The atmosphere of the house is colourful, airy, quiet and open. Being greated with a coffee and chat in the morning was a lovely start to the day.

Joni's place was absolutely perfect and located within walking distance to town. I stayed 4 nights whilst attending the spirit festival so I was out most of the time however I loved the our door bath, it was my savior after a long drive through floods on my arrival day! I didn't get to meet Joni but her communication was impeccable. Thank you Joni for opening up your home, I love your quirky taste and felt completely at home! Would really loved to have met you Joni... Definitely recommend a night or two at Joni's :)

Joni was a gracious and welcoming host. The accommodation was as described on the site. We shared meals and drinks plus fabulous discussions about meaningful subject exchanging views and our varied experiences. Joni has had a life full of lived experiences about which she is very open and generously shares. Staying with Joni was a rich life affirming time, which I valued greatly. I would recommend her as a host for anyone, especially those who want more than a place to sleep as it can be a unique and rewarding experience, way beyond merely a bed for the night. Thanks for the time we shared Joni Every Blessing Brodie
