Hi there! :)
My name is Melinda,
or 俞建梅 in Chinese,
and 유지민 in Korean.
I love traveling around the world, get lost, eat unique local delicacies, meet new people and experience wonderful various cultures.
I've traveled to London, Oxford, Bath, Stratford Upon Avon, Paris, Lyon, Nice, Grasse, Loire Valley, Cannes, St Tropez, Monaco, Chamonix Mont Blanc, Amsterdam, Brussels, Rome, Milan, Sydney, Melbourne, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Macao, Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Nanjing, Chengdu, Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Suzhou, Fuzhou, Guangzhou, Seoul, Busan, Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Singapore, Ho Chi Minh City, Bangkok, Phuket, Bali, Kuala Lumpur, Johor Bahru and Penang.
But I always love East Asia (South Korea, China and Japan) the most. It's fascinating for me to see how the three countries are different yet similar in some ways.
I am Indonesian, so my mother tongue is Bahasa Indonesia. I speak pretty good English, intermediate Mandarin Chinese (中文) and learned a bit of basic Korean (한국어).
It's intriguing that Mandarin Chinese and Korean may sound totally different, but if you look closely, there are so many hidden similarities between the two languages.
I guess that's all about me that I can explain here.
I look forward to welcoming you to Jakarta and being your nice host here :)
