A very special place to stay in this charming Berber fishing village. An exceptional, interior designed two-bedroom apartment on the beach front combines Moroccan style with Western comfort, including our beautiful sun-dreched roof garden with incredible views!

The space

With its generous outside space including a beautiful dining terrace/bbq area and a stunning 'suntrap' roof garden with breathtaking sunset views, this two-bedroom apartment is the place to stay in Taghazout.

Each room has been freshly designed to bring you space and luxury. There are two comfortable double bedrooms, each with a special little terrace.

One of the bedrooms has a charming sitting room attached with a traditional Moroccan day bed which is perfect for relaxing and chilling out and can also be used as an additional sleeping area.

There are two lovely bathrooms with wet room showers combining traditional Tadelak walls with high-quality European bathroom fittings and hot water supplied by solar-panel heating.

No detail has been overlooked in the hand-crafted kitchen, specifically designed around the incredible sea view.

Clemmie responded to all emails and answer all our questions we had quickly prior to our trip. We were met by Habib on our arrival in Taghazout and kept in contact via What's App. The apartment was as described, loved the quirkiness of the different shaped rooms and the furnishing, we all really enjoyed the roof top garden and the friendly local black and white cat. The apartment is in an excellent location, with beautiful sea views and close to all the towns restaurants/shops/board rental. Would highly recommend :-)

We contacted Habib {lovely man who looks after the apartment} from the UK to arrange a cab to collect us from Agadir airport. Ashraf {cabbie} collected us as arranged and took us to Taghazout where we were met by Habib who showed us the way to the apartment. The apartment looks exactly the same as the pics , beautiful. The next morning we got up and walked to Cafe Mouja for breakfast which was lovely. We were a little concerned about the fact it was so overcast but soon learned that in the summer the normal weather pattern seems to be overcast til noon/1 oclock then bright sunshine until 7pm ! Apart from our last day when it rained ! Apparently it NEVER rains in the summer ! The first day I stupidly went up onto the roof terrace to catch a few rays then spent 4 days getting over the sunburn ! Summer in Taghazout is mainly frequented by Moroccans on their summer break and the winter months mainly by Europeans searching out world class surf . My Australian husband who has lived in the UK for 10 years and missing his surfing youth ,was hoping to find a few decent swells despite it being summer and he wasn't disappointed . He also managed to give my teenage daughter some lessons. The locals are extremely friendly and helpful ,we rented boards from Hassan who runs the shop below the apartment and helped us out we lots of things and gave us lots of advice, we didnt really see Habib although he kept in touch via "(SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN)" it was only towards the end of our trip I learnt that he had just got married ! We made a couple of trips , to Agadir {Souk} and Paradise Valley and were very glad we were staying in Taghazout. There is alot of building work and a huge luxury development in progress on the coast road between Taghazout and Agadir due to finish in 4 years cant help but think the laid back nature of the fishing village will change so people should visit sooner rather than later. We cooked a few times in the apartment but to be honest the price of eating out was so reasonable it really wasnt required plus all the restaurants would do take away anyway if you cant be bothered going out.None of us fell ill from the food , we brushed our teeth/washed fruit and salad in the water but bought bottled to drink . The village is dry {no alchohol} but we bought in some duty free and picked some beer up in Carrefour in Agadir. The apartment has a few sweet tempered "resident " cats and kittens which my daughter loved.

We had a great time staying at Clemmie's place. The location is perfect right next to the beach and close to all the shopping. The apartment is so cute and it has two spacious bedrooms. Habib and Clemmie were great and super responsive and flexible with us. We definitely will want to come back and stay again!

This is a great apartment with a fantastic location. Magnificent views over the sea, looking down to the beach. The apartment is comfortable and equipped with most things you need for your stay. There are two fabulous terraces to enjoy, the rooftop one with the amazing views out to sea. There is a BBQ which is great, a well equipped kitchen. Showering in winter must be timed so that you catch the solar heated water. Beds are comfortable and there is a large selection of movies and programs on DVD, which is great for the evenings. Everything is just downstairs. A convenience store, a surf shop, a curio shop and the walkway to numerous restaurants. The beach literally just down the stairs and around the corner. The check-in/out is seamless with Habib taking care of this. He responds quickly to messages and is always there to help. This is a magical apartment, highly recommended and we will definitely return.
