Valerie is a fantastic host: Communicates immediately, she's incredibly helpful and supportive as well as flexible, humorous and interesting. Her place is awesome: Literally a walking art gallery made of many self-made items with such charme. It is located very conveniently close to Mt St Bruno, and very tidy. All amenities and more were supplied, Valerie even left extra food and drinks as we arrive late, so very nice! It really was a great trip and we hope to be back soon.... felt immediately at home! Merci bien!

Valerie was a fantastic host! Though we didn't get to meet her personally, she was great at communicating with us. She even left us a bottle of Montreal wine and some treats for our pups! Her home was very clean and had tons of character. Our dogs really enjoyed the yard. I would definitely stay here again!

Valerie was a very welcoming host. She had left treats for us and a delicious pot of soup on our arrival. The house was cozy and Valerie had gone out of her way to make us feel welcome. She even left a Valentine treat for our daughter. One thing to note is that Valerie does not have a TV set (she did get one lent to her with one channel for our visit), a microwave or a regular toaster. She did have a DVD player with movies had we wanted to use them. Be prepared if it snows while you are there to have to dig yourselves out. The big graders move a lot of snow onto the entrance to the driveway and you will need to move that snow to get out. Overall, we had a great time visiting our friends and the convenience of the location was wonderful.

Response from Valerie:
Dear Murray and Kate, thank you for taking the time to propose ideas to make it better. I'm sorry the house was cold :( I also prefer when I can open the windows and fresh air.) I'm I will have to think of something. I wonder if I do not seal the window if it would get cooler I will have to think about that. Yes of course I'll get the tap fix, getting a microwave is easy and yes updating the pictures so it reflects the right furniture. I'm sorry and suprise you find dust! I did vacuum clean more than once the days before your arrival but I did notice it too when I got back. White dust on the floor mostly in the living room. I guess I couldn't see that coming before your visit. : \ I'll make sure to improve thanks to your suggestions. Take care Valerie

When we arrived, Valerie greeted us with ice pops in hand to cool off on brutally hot August day. There was even water and a bone for our dog. The colors on the walls had changed a bit, but the house was so nice and even bigger than I expected. It was exceptionally clean and comfortable and we had everything we needed for our stay. An easy car ride into Montreal and a lovely quiet neighborhood with the national park was literally right down at the end of the street. Great for bike riding or hiking. Valerie was easy to reach and responded quickly to any questions I had. The only drawback we encountered was the lack of air conditioning in the house. Although she pointed this out to me before we booked, I did not anticipate the heat.

Valerie was a great hostess. The house was wonderfully prepared for us with extra added touches that made us feel welcome. She walked me through the house and highlighted info that I needed to know, eg furnace thermostat. The neighborhood was great for walking. Overall, we had a great experience.

Sportif? Détente? Rdv de famille?
