Peace and quiet

This home is in a quiet area.
Private garden studio with separate access, together with kitchenette, own bathroom and access to the garden area. Situated in a leafy street with excellent public transport links to bus and train stations (2-3 mins walk for both) and is walking distance to the bars and restaurants of Kingslands and the St Lukes shopping mall (10 mins for both). Easy access to the motorway also - 1 min drive.

The space
The self-contained studio is small but well located for a city fringe experience - very close to Kingsland, Mt Albert, Eden Park, St Lukes and Western Springs. There are many restaurants, cafes, eateries and the mall 5-10 minutes walk away, and an easy train into the centre of town. We are in a leafy, older suburb with a lovely historic park only 1 minute walk away.

Our family is Dave, Rennie and two boys Harry (16) and Jake (13) and cat Kylo who will be happy to say hello. You are welcome to use the garden outdoor seating areas.

The studio is ideal for 1 person - it is a king single / small double. Unlimited wireless internet is available

There is plenty of parking on the street.

Other things to note
Please note we are close to a train line, and while the trains are electric, bear this in mind if you are a light sleeper.

Please note there are limited cooking facilities in the kitchenette - there is a microwave, a kettle, a toaster, an electric frypan - but no hobs.

There is no laundry, but a laundromat is around 2-3 mins walk.

Where you’ll be

Walking distance to Western Springs, Auckland Zoo, Motat, Westfield Shopping Centre and Kingsland and Grey Lynn.

Our favourite cafes are Crave and Kind in Morningside, but there are lots of restaurants and bars in Kingsland and Mt Albert, and easy train access to the city. There’s a great Indian called Tiffin and also amazing fish and chips at a little local called Tipene’s located pretty much at the end of the street (near Rocky Nook).
