Peace and quiet

Close to Bury St Edmunds and Diss, an ideal semi-rural base for exploring East Anglia and the cities of Norwich and Cambridge. Our comfortable and quiet cottage annexe provides a well-equipped place to stay for a self-catering short break or longer, with wi-fi included. The comfortable sitting room looks out onto the private garden where there is a small patio containing outdoor chairs and table. The ensuite bedroom (double-bed) has a vaulted ceiling and ample storage.

The space
An attractive conservatory is where you will find the comfortable living room, with 2-seater settee, coffee table and lamp. The TV and radio is here also.

The bedroom has a double bed, below a high ceiling with exposed beams, and contains a free-standing wardrobe plus a large built-in cupboard which combined have plenty of space for clothing and baggage.

The en-suite bathroom has a pedestal wash-basin, toilet and modern shower.

The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and includes dining table and two dining chairs.

Guest access
Guests can park their car alongside the accommodation with just a very short path leading to the conservatory door entrance. There is one low step along the path and a raised threshold access door. The access is a double door making it wider than most entrances. Shortly before your arrival date, Airbnb will send you photos and a photographic guide showing you how to find us and access the accommodation for the first time.

Other things to note
If you want to buy groceries on the way, we have a modern Co-Op supermarket just 5 minutes away in Stanton village centre.

We are a short drive from the centre of Stanton village, which can be walked in about 20 minutes. In the village centre you will find a village pub, a convenience store, bakers and a post-office. On the other side of the village on the Barningham road there is an excellent farm-shop at Hillcrest Nurseries, with deli counter and cafe.
