The space
The house has been recently refurnished by architects and it was conceived to host with simplicity and style. Convivial space includes multiple wood decks, a lounge, a library, brand new furniture with a touch of antique and modern style, an upscale bar and a swimming pool with panoramic view for Copacabana Beach and Cantagalo favela, bringing the mixture of realities in Rio.

Each wooden-floor suite is uniquely styled, climatized and provided with blackout curtains / shades, excellence king size bedding, a safe-lock, a mini-bar, stylish bathroom with shower, hair drier and sustainable local amenities.

Getting around

You will need to be prepared for a 10 minutes walking up the hill or you can also take the stairs (two minutes from the subway's station General Osorio wayout Sá Ferreira - EXIT D) for a shortcut. Most people arrive at the Guesthouse 184 by car (taxi) or by feet, a 10 minutes walk up the hill.

The Ipanema subway station (General Osório - EXIT B - Jangadeiros) is located 1 block away down the hill and there you can many options for public transportation (táxis, buses and subway).

Once you are down the hill you can choose to go to Ipanema via Antônio Parreiras street or Copacabana via Piragibe Frota Aguiar street.

You will be in walking distance of :
- Bars and restaurants for every taste (Brazilian, Italian, Japanese, Greek, Portuguese, Brazilian Barbecue - Churrascaria - and as well as buffet style eateries where you pay by weight for delicacies from salad bar to hot plates, desserts)
- Tropical Fresh Juice Houses
- Starbucks and other local Cafes
- Bakeries
- Artisan Street fair on Sundays
- Supermarkets, ATM machines and stores.
