Our stay at Simone’s place was absolutely fantastic! The place is exactly as it is pictured, very clean and an overall comfortable place to stay in. We didn’t get the chance to meet Simone, however his lovely friend Tommaso helped us to check in and provided us with so much useful information. There is a huge map provided so that you can easily see the distance from place to place. Personally for us, the location wasn’t quite central as we didn’t want to take any metro/bus system. We prefer to walk and it was quite far from majority of places - but we still did it! For people who prefer to take transport it’s not that bad (and you can also buy a time pass for a specific time e.g. one day, two day). It’s also very close to termini station which was useful for us to get there and also to get the bus to airport in the early hours of the morning. We had trouble getting in after our first day out in Rome as we couldn’t work out how to unlock the door, however we figured out we just had to turn the lock at the bottom one more time and after that it was easy. Communication was excellent with both Simone and Tommaso (via (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN)) and they were happy to answer any questions regarding the apartment or Rome. There is a supermarket close by which was a plus as we were allowed to use all of the facilities, like the toaster, washing machine and fridge. It does get quite noisy, especially at night when the big door on the outside slams closed and also because we stayed there on a fri/sat you can hear drunk people hanging out and talking loudly outside the big doors. But still it wasn’t too much of a problem. Overall we loved our stay and it was everything we could’ve wanted!

Simon's place is a great base to explore the vast tourist attractions Rome has on offer, while being in a hip district with some really cool bars and restaurants. The hosts were awesome and went the extra mile, providing local insight on where to go and dine. The flat was as described; clean, bright and fully equipped with everything you would need. My only point is that of the old building, been on the ground floor and in a busy neighbourhood noise was an issue for us on most nights - with the front door slamming until the early hours. I appricate that it's the 'eternal' city, however a little bit more noise insulation would have been ideal after a busy day sight seeing or we could have been simply unlucky.

Simone was very helpful, the flat was as described, clean and well connected for transport to the main tourist sites. The only minor negative point is there is noise from the surrounding flats etc in the evening

My name is Simone and I’m a young engineer in love with travels, especially the one which you get to discover places, meet the locals and learn their cultures and habits. This is what I really consider a travel, a “real” one... I’ll be happy to welcome you with this very spirit,…
