Everything about this place is perfect! The location is serene - from the surrounding corn fields and wooded areas, the varied magical sounds of nature you'll be waking up to, to the chairs in front of the fire pit facing the water - all provide the ingredients for the perfect getaway from the busy workweek most of us face. You will be hard-pressed to ever want to leave while staying here. The tiny house may seem small from the outside, but the cathedral ceilings, the naturally-lit, spacious living area, and the full-size bathroom provide all the comfort a big home would afford. The bed is big and extremely comfortable, all kitchen utensils and appliances are provided, as are the usual toiletries one would have at home. It has a television set with a dvd player and a great selection of movies, in addition to board games, and books. There is both an indoor and an outdoor shower, the latter of which is divine, so be sure to factor it into your summer trips out there. My wife and I can't lavish enough praise on this listing, just to send along the recommendation to book it now, and book it often! Mona is communicative, attentive and extremely friendly. We met her our first day there, and she knew all the places to go given our initial plans to just paddle boat and fish in the nearby creek. This place is a gem, and I hope you get to experience it at some point! Thank you for everything, Mona! It was great to meet you, and to experience tiny-house life in such a peaceful part of the world.

The little red house is a wonderful place to get away from it all. It is so cute and quiet and secluded that you will feel a world away from your busy life! We had a lovely stay and we're easily able to take day trips north and south to see all the sights around.

This was my first time staying in a tiny house, and I loved it! The area was beautiful and only 40ish minutes from Chincoteague and Assateague. (Hint, bring heavy duty mosquito spray if you want to hike there!) The marsh behind the house was pretty and there was plenty of wildlife to see, including some herons, ducks, and frogs. The house itself was very cozy and felt a lot more spacious than it appeared from the outside. My boyfriend and I also appreciated the DVDs and board games! We met Mona on our second day and had a nice chat with her, and she made sure our stay was comfortable. I'd definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful time at Mona and Tom's place! The little house is really beautifully decorated, fully equipped and comfortable. When you stay here you will have privacy but also a feeling of being cared for as guests. We really enjoyed the peaceful surroundings, especially the wildlife.... I didn't know frogs could be so tiny! Hope to come back one day.
