Welcome to our charming little treehouse! This is the perfect place for travelers seeking a comfortable home away from home. Enjoy the neighborly feel of Brooklyn or scoot over to bustling Manhattan in only 15 minutes. The best of both worlds!

The space

Your bed rests atop a pinewood loft where you can enjoy ultimate peace and coziness. It's outfitted with a high-quality down comforter and pillows that are so dreamy and comfortable that you'll feel like you're sleeping on clouds. We can accommodate a solo traveler or a couple. We also can have one person on the couch for an additional $15/night.

We are friendly to all people!

Guest access

You will have access to the whole apartment except for our bedroom.

Feel free to use the fully stocked kitchen if you'd like to cook or make some coffee or tea. We have coffee, tea, sugar, cream, and other spices that you are free to use.

We provide all linens. You will share the bathroom and the living room (which is located in the same room as your bed/loft, but we're hardly ever in there).

There is also a washer and dryer located in the building. We also offer free wi-fi and you can use our MacBook Pro if you'd like. You're also welcome to use our 2 bicycles to explore the city with a $100 deposit and prior notice.

Interaction with guests

We will most likely be present during your stay, but we promise only to enhance your time here. Come to us with any questions or concerns and we'll do our best to accommodate you. We understand that everyone is different and we can adapt to your style as needed.

Other things to note

We have a small, extremely sweet and obedient dog named Zuzu. She's loved every person she's ever met. Just to let you know.

Christopher is awesome, he was the perfect host and made us feel completely at home. He gave us space to do our own thing but also spent time with us and gave us loads of advice about the area and what we should do while we were in New York. The description of his apartment was completely accurate, it was so cosy and unique. And Zuzu is the best dog/co-host we have ever met. There`s two subway stations really close to Christopher's apartment which makes it easy to get from Brooklyn to Manhattan and there's plenty of places to eat and drink in the area. We really enjoyed spending time with Christopher, he made us laugh and made us breakfast, we'd definitely recommend staying with him. God bless the chickpea.

Christopher's flat is in a great location between two metro lines, meaning you can get into Manhattan in about 15 minutes. Christopher gave great recommendations on local restaurants and cafes. Zuzu is the most adorable dog and is no trouble at all. The stairs are a little creaky up to the nook and the mattress isn't the most comfortable. Christopher wasn't there for much of our stay but his friend Putnam came bye to check we were okay and to walk Zuzu. Communication was great and I can definitely recommend the flat.

Christopher's place was nice and comfortable. He was a great host, he even cooked us breakfast on the last day. The flat is well located with great transport connections, and it's close to Williamsburg (an area we really liked). We recommend staying at Christopher's if you're coming to New York.

We spent an excellent time in NYC ! The loft was exactly as described : very cosy and we really liked it. It is located near the J/M/Z metro (about 5 min walk) and it takes only 15-20 min to get into Manhattan ! (The first day, we even walked to Manhattan, but that takes much more time, about 2hours). Christopher is an excellent host. Although he wasn't there when we arrived (it was thanksgiving night), everything was well organised, we found the keys and the way to get to his loft easily. Christopher made us feel comfortable and at home. He also cooked delicious breakfast for us and he gave us good adresses of places where to eat. Zuzu, his dog, is so so cute and very quiet. She is definitely a wonderdog !

I'm a small-town Michigander who started traveling the world as soon as I could. I've been to some unforgettable places and met many incredible people, but now I've settled down in lovely Brooklyn. i love to cook, i love dogs, i love movies, and i love opening my home to travelers and sharing stories with them.

I travel frequently for work and often my friend, Putnam, looks after our place and our guests when i'm away.
