Leaf Retreat is based in a secluded haven on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds in Louth, yet a 5 min walk from the town centre! We offer private en-suite accommodation, set within our walled gardens and healing centre. We aim to provide a simple, comfortable, sustainable and alternative way of living, based around nature, with an emphasis on up-cycling for a unique and inspirational experience! We have three pugs and are therefore dog-friendly too.
The space
The Leaf Retreat is set in a private annex within our grounds. The annex is on the right hand side of the building with a private garden area; the healing centre in the middle and we live in a bungalow to the left, so it is very private and secluded.
The guest annex is a one bedroom open plan area, with a kitchen and dining area and shower en-suite.
The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric cooker, fridge, microwave, toaster and fold-out dining area; with cutlery, china, basic condiments, and a collection of teas and coffee.
We have a flat-screen TV/with access to free wi-fi. There is a chair area and double bed. There are hangers and a shelving unit for storage. There are two large windows and the sun is lovely in this room - great for a little bird watching.
Set in a walled garden there is a private outdoor space with a patio table, tree seat, chimnea and hidden tranquil areas to enjoy a glass of wine or to set up a BBQ.
We are dog-friendly and we offer a free dog-sitting service as and when you need! We don't like dogs being left on their own in the property and really happy to look after them instead! We have some super dog-friendly places in the wolds with lovely walks and places to eat.

Guest access
We live down a tiny lane, all very safe and quiet. Please note, there is auctioned land surrounding our property - but - we are at the bottom of the lane hidden away! Whilst it might look desolate we love the benefits of our scheduled spot and we can tell you inside is quite an oasis of calm.
It is just a 5 minute walk to the town centre, so you get the best of both worlds. The co-op is just a 2-minute work away and open until 11pm for any last minute needs too.
Come in through the yellow gate, head to the left, past the corner pond and into the annex via a grey door, leading into the bathroom and self-contained annex. You are free to come in and out, we don't mind about noise or times, all very relaxed. We just ask you watch the pugs don't get out should they be roaming around!
Guests are welcome to access the healing centre during there visit, please see details in the next box below. Guests are also welcome to join us in the garden or in our home for company too. We have enjoyed many a meal or glass of wine with previous guests.
